Reid Rabbit: how is he doing?
I love being a big sister! My new baby brother is adorable! It’s really, really fun except when he cries. But when he does cry that’s okay too, because it just means that he needs something. Like a diaper change, or a feed, or he has gas and he needs to be burped. My mom taught me a trick when he needs to be burped. She showed me that you sit down and place him across your lap and then you stroke up his back. When his tummy presses against my lap, that makes him burp! My dad always says that he likes to do it the old fashioned way and holds Reid up to his shoulder and pats him on the back. But the other morning, my dad was all ready to go to work and was wearing his best suit when he decided to burp Reid ‘the old fashioned way’, but when Reid finally did burp, he spit up all over the shoulder of my dad’s best suit! It was really gross! I think I’ll stick to my mom’s way.

 Today’s interview will be with Chef Sophia Soufflé, Webkinz World’s foremost dessert artisan! Ella McWoof: Chef Soufflé, thank you for joining us! Sophia Soufflé: Please, call me Sophia. EM: OK! Sophia, it’s commonly known that you had to work very hard to get to where you are today. Can you tell me a bit about that? SS: You’re right, Ella. I did have to work hard. I worked all through chef school. While other kids got to go home after a hard day at school, I went to the local restaurant and waited tables and did dishes. Over time, the head chef saw how passionate I was about food, and he let me start helping out in the kitchen. Pretty soon, I was a sous-chef, which is the chef who assists the head chef. EM: You must have been very proud to become the sous-chef at such a young age. SS: I was. I worked hard for it, and I was proud of myself. Not as proud as my parents were, I’m sure. Elwin’s Second Concert
Okay, Hailey. Thought I’d take a quick moment to drop you a line because right now I am FREAKING OUT! It’s my second concert and I’m waiting backstage right now. This is a much bigger venue than my first concert, and it’s completely sold out. There are so many fans out there – I don’t know if I can do this! I mean – remember how I forgot some of the words when I saw the crowd the other night? Well, how am I going to remember a single thing tonight? What was I thinking, Hailey? I’m just a simple designer from Kinzville who auditioned for a TV show on a lark. I didn’t sign on for this craziness! I am WAY out of my depth here! I better go. Here comes Dacey. Maybe she can give me some advice about stage fright. Oh, Hailey. Wish me luck. I’m really gonna need it!
