My Page… My Template! Create a custom template in My Page. Click on the DESIGN button on My Page and pick “My Template” – when you go back to My Page, you’ll see a CUSTOMIZE button. When you click that, you can start dragging widgets onto the screen and putting them where you want. You can pick the size, too. When you’re finished creating your Template, click SAVE. You can then EDIT your page and fill it with content, just like the other Templates. Show off your uniqueness with a custom My Page! Four New Exclusives! Webkinz World® Honored with Best of the Web Award
Toronto, Ontario—Ganz is proud to announce that again this year, the Webkinz World site has been recognized by the world’s largest internet safety and help group, WiredSafety.org, with a Best of the Web Award for 2009. The Best of the Web Award honors child-focused Internet sites that offer fun and entertainment for kids while protecting them from revealing personal information which could lead to cyberbullying, stalking and other potential dangers. The presentation was made by members of Tween Angels at the 9th Annual Wired Kids Summit in Washington D.C. on February 25th. “We are very pleased to receive this award again this year”, stated Ganz president, Howard Ganz. “WiredSafety is a leading advocate of children’s online safety. Kinzville Newz has just had a make-over: we’re now known as Webkinz Newz! Our new official URL is www.webkinznewz.com, but you can still use both www.kinzvillenewz.com and www.kinzvillenews.com to reach us. We’ll be updating the newspaper in Webkinz World soon, too. Can you guess what its new name will be? (Hint: It’s not Kinzville Newz… that would be too easy!)
