Molly’s Pencil Toppers
Hey everyone! It’s me, Molly! As you know, there’s a craft fair coming up. What you might NOT know is that I’m a HUGE craft fan! Also, I could use a bit of extra KinzCash – so I’m making these awesome pencil toppers and selling them! Here’s how I did it: What you need:Pencils, craft foam (in all different colors), felt (in all different colors), scissors, craft glue, needle and thread, puff paint or sparkle glue, sequins, beads or buttons (whatever you’d like to use for decoration) What you do: 1. Figure out what kind of design you want to make. I made two different designs: a heart and a Christmas tree (I figured Webkinz might want to use these as stocking stuffers). Cut out the basic shape from your foam or felt. 2. If you’re using felt, stitch around the shape, leaving a little opening for the top of the pencil. School Council Minutes
Taken by: Stoogles In Attendance: Salley, Purr-Cilla, Stoogles Today’s meeting was attended by the entire school council. We met to discuss about prizes for the Fall Fair. As usual, there were two conflicting viewpoints: Salley wants us to ask for donations. She’d like us to visit some of the business-Webkinz (like Fluffington and Chef Gazpacho) and ask to see if they’d be willing to give us either KinzCash or prize items. Fluffington is already donating to the cupcake competition, so I (Stoogles) am not sure that we should ask him again. Isn’t that kind of greedy? Purr-Cilla, on the other hand, was TOTALLY against asking for donations. She thinks we should do some quick fundraising (although she couldn’t say how, exactly) and earn KinzCash to buy the prizes ourselves. Salley pointed out that we really don’t have time for this, and that donations would be easier. Plus, everyone always wants to donate to the Kinzville Academy. Nibbles’ Ladybug Cupcake
This cupcake is almost too cute to eat! Almost. What you need: - Cupcakes - White icing - Red food coloring - Hockey puck candy or any round, black candy - Dark chocolate raisins - Sprinkles What to do: Add red food coloring to icing until it is the right shade of red. Cut the top off of your cupcake and then cut it in half. Spread each half with red icing and set them on top of cupcake to form your ladybug’s wings. Stick a black candy onto the top at one end to make your ladybug’s head. Put dark chocolate raisins on the wings to make the spots. Using a toothpick, stick white sprinkles on the head for eyes and add a blue sprinkle to each one.

Crafty Critterz: Awesome Area Rug
Submitted by: jil with Stripes What you need: Lightly colored construction paper Markers / Crayons Scissors What you do: 1. Use the markers to make an outline of your design. 2. Color in the outline using the crayons. (Use bright, happy colors!) 3. Use the scissors to cut a fringe. (It does not have to be even if you don’t want it to be.) Let your Webkinz sit on your awesome area rug so they can warm their feet! Do you have a great idea for a craft, recipe or party game? We’d love to hear them!
Feelin’ Crafty
Salley here, with some good news – we’ve got another great idea for the fall fair! We’re going to make crafts and sell them. It’ll be a great way for some of us kids to get extra pocket KinzCash for Christmas. Even though SOME of the council members weren’t on board at first, when other kids heard about the idea, they really wanted us to do it. So Stoogles and Purr-Cilla decided to change their minds. So crafts! Hooray! Ms. Cowoline called me into her office this afternoon and I thought she was mad at me for something – but she actually said how impressed she is with the work we’re all doing. She said that she couldn’t believe how many things the council has done so far this year – and that I was obviously the best choice for president. That made me feel so good. I can’t wait for the fair!
Alex Tiger’s Desert Island Cupcake
If I had to be stranded on a desert island I’d want it to be this one! What you need: - Cupcakes - White icing - Blue food coloring - Brown sugar - Pretzels - Green fruit leather What to do: Add blue food coloring to icing until it is the right shade of blue. Spread blue icing around the edge of the cupcake leaving a space in the middle. Fill the space with brown sugar. Cut six small, elongated diamonds out of fruit leather. Layer three diamonds on top of each other to form palm tree leaves and poke the top of a pretzel through them to form a palm tree. Repeat to make second palm tree. Poke your trees into the ‘sand’. This cupcake will really float your boat!

Cowabelle’s Cupcake
I was hoping to win Fluffington over with the cutest cupcake ever – and I think I’ve got a pretty great entry. Let me introduce you to… Quacky McDuckbeak! (OK, so maybe it’s a bit weird to give your cupcake a name…but look at how cute it is!) He was super easy to make! This is what you do: 1. Frost your cupcake with yellow frosting. 2. Put on two orange candy-coated chocolates for a beak. You’ll want to stick them IN to the cupake, so part of them sticks out. 3. Put on two orange candy-coated chocolates for feet. 4. Add two chocolate chips for eyes. Admire the simple cuteness of this duck-cake!
