Hello Kinzville! Today marks another update in Webkinz and I’m here to talk about what’s new.
- It’s time to answer Ms. Cowoline’s Roll Call! Head to the Arcade in Webkinz World and (soon) the Webkinz mobile app to play this NEW GAME that will teach you to pay attention! (Yay, Mom!!)
- Build a Freaky Forest! This year’s Halloween theme will arrive in the W-Shop TOMORROW! Pick up items from the Freaky Forest room theme ONLY throughout the month of October!
- Halloween Costumes are here! Head over to the KinzStyle Outlet to pick up a costume for your pet including the NEW Aztec Queen and Football Pro costumes!
- Play the Halloween Challenge starting TOMORROW! Click on the icon in your pet’s room to review your tasks. Complete this year’s Challenge to win a Haunted Pond! Only available until October 31st.
- Look For the Ghost in the Clubhouse Oct 20 – 31! Collect candies form the Ghost in the Reading Room from Oct 20 – 31. Collect all 20 to win a Witch’s Broomstick for your pet to ride!
- There’s lots more spooky fun happening during Halloween, including floating pumpkins that you can click for prizes, the return of the Halloween Party Packs and the Rickety Cottage Building Kit, plus some special returning Halloween items ONLY available in the Mobile Zone on the Webkinz mobile app!
- Fall fashions have also arrived at the KinzStyle Outlet! Visit PJ Collie and pick up a cool new outfit for your pet from our 2015 Fall Clothing Line!
- There’s a new Superbed! Every 10 pets you adopt awards a Bonus Box! Drag it into your room to pick the Super Bed of your choice including the NEW Dr. Frankenkinz’ Lab Bed!
We’ve also made MANY updates to Webkinz X to get it working better! Here are some of the highlights:
- More item fixes
- Fixed animated clothing bug that caused some pets to disappear or accounts to not load
- Added click and hold functionality to the arrow buttons for scrolling the House Map
- Fixed bug with using coupons in the KinzStyle Outlet
- Fixed bug causing items to disappear when sending a full container via KinzPost
- Capped the maximum amount of hunger lost when a pet sleeps to 10 points
- Fixed bug in Kinzville Park which only showed the KinzChat bubble after the pet was moved
- Updated the Deluxe Account Benefits section in the Newspaper
- Changed the homepage “Catalog” button to a “Buy Plush” button linked to the eStore
- Added the “!” icon for active pet requests to the up arrow button when the Dock is minimized
- Fixed Purple Floral Fawn/Purple Floral Fox swap issue
- Fixed bug allowing some items to be placed outside of rooms
- Fixed bug that had winged pets stuck in a sitting position
- Fixed raffle in Coral Cove Vacation Island room
- Various other site loading issues
- Various other minor site bugs (around 100 fixes total)

I like most of these changes, especially all of the item fixes (my rooms are looking more and more normal by the Wednesday! Hooray!) but why did you change so many of the food graphics? I really liked them the way they were, especially carrot cake! Is there any chance that you’ll return them to normal? On a more positive note, you guys are doing a great job with everything else! Keep up the good work! :)

Nice list. Will we soon be able to see the invisible items at least as grey boxes so we can move or remove them? Those designer inground pools are kind of a pain when you need to move them because they’re not even grey boxes that can be re/moved.
Log into the Webkinz Mobile and remove them that way.
Am I the only one that has a problem when trying play the new game? I try to press the start button, but it won’t let me start.

One reiterated request, per someones’s comment above; please address the issue of non-working halloween costumes, such as the hat/veil that goes with the vampiress costume.

Any chance pets on Deluxe accounts can eat at the Coral Cove Buffet again any time soon? If that food is going to stay useless and not actually feed pets, you maybe need to update the deluxe membership thing again…? Plus, yeah, invisible beds, non-working beds (for family score points)…so many things still don’t work.
QUESTION : PLEASE is the broom postable ???
Hi! I cannot move anywhere in my house without the screen freezing – both using the map and going manually through a door to another room. Please fix this as soon as possible. It wasn’t a problem before maintenance. Thanks in advance.
