Hello Kinzville! Today marks another update in Webkinz and I’m here to talk about what’s new.
- It’s time to answer Ms. Cowoline’s Roll Call! Head to the Arcade in Webkinz World and (soon) the Webkinz mobile app to play this NEW GAME that will teach you to pay attention! (Yay, Mom!!)
- Build a Freaky Forest! This year’s Halloween theme will arrive in the W-Shop TOMORROW! Pick up items from the Freaky Forest room theme ONLY throughout the month of October!
- Halloween Costumes are here! Head over to the KinzStyle Outlet to pick up a costume for your pet including the NEW Aztec Queen and Football Pro costumes!
- Play the Halloween Challenge starting TOMORROW! Click on the icon in your pet’s room to review your tasks. Complete this year’s Challenge to win a Haunted Pond! Only available until October 31st.
- Look For the Ghost in the Clubhouse Oct 20 – 31! Collect candies form the Ghost in the Reading Room from Oct 20 – 31. Collect all 20 to win a Witch’s Broomstick for your pet to ride!
- There’s lots more spooky fun happening during Halloween, including floating pumpkins that you can click for prizes, the return of the Halloween Party Packs and the Rickety Cottage Building Kit, plus some special returning Halloween items ONLY available in the Mobile Zone on the Webkinz mobile app!
- Fall fashions have also arrived at the KinzStyle Outlet! Visit PJ Collie and pick up a cool new outfit for your pet from our 2015 Fall Clothing Line!
- There’s a new Superbed! Every 10 pets you adopt awards a Bonus Box! Drag it into your room to pick the Super Bed of your choice including the NEW Dr. Frankenkinz’ Lab Bed!
We’ve also made MANY updates to Webkinz X to get it working better! Here are some of the highlights:
- More item fixes
- Fixed animated clothing bug that caused some pets to disappear or accounts to not load
- Added click and hold functionality to the arrow buttons for scrolling the House Map
- Fixed bug with using coupons in the KinzStyle Outlet
- Fixed bug causing items to disappear when sending a full container via KinzPost
- Capped the maximum amount of hunger lost when a pet sleeps to 10 points
- Fixed bug in Kinzville Park which only showed the KinzChat bubble after the pet was moved
- Updated the Deluxe Account Benefits section in the Newspaper
- Changed the homepage “Catalog” button to a “Buy Plush” button linked to the eStore
- Added the “!” icon for active pet requests to the up arrow button when the Dock is minimized
- Fixed Purple Floral Fawn/Purple Floral Fox swap issue
- Fixed bug allowing some items to be placed outside of rooms
- Fixed bug that had winged pets stuck in a sitting position
- Fixed raffle in Coral Cove Vacation Island room
- Various other site loading issues
- Various other minor site bugs (around 100 fixes total)

GRANDMA: all 3 accounts received message about Halloween challenge, should look in the room at WW, none of them got it! The arrow with “New challenge” appeared in Clubhouse. Is it new Halloween trick, similar to what you had couple days ago with none existing ad?

Not sure if they updated WKN also but in Safari I am not seeing the top blue bar with the login and links to Webkinz World. It does appear in Firefox. I’m not sure what is causing the performance issues (video ads perhaps) but playing games that require any kind of timing (like Candy Crush for the Deluxe Challenge) is extremely frustrating (happens in both browsers).
On the plus side I’m happy to see a cap on hunger depletion when my pets are sleeping! Hope it really works!
my kinz post items are still disappearing even after clearing cache. many items i purchased previously from estore do not show up in room even the Halloween items
I have just logged into my US account and all my friends are missing from my phone. They were there earlier today. Have you made a correction somewhere and it has wiped the friends list? UK server still not working properly and can’t change pets or jump from room to room without it freezing. US server now working ok. Please fix the UK server as I want to get on and earn points. Thanks.
I can not get Ms.Cowoline’s new game to work, is anyone else having that problem?
The problem of greying out when changing pets or rooms is still on the European server. The US server is working ok now. I have one US account and one European account. The message is; Not Found
The requested URL /undefined was not found on this server. Please could you sort this urgently, as I want to make new rooms with the haunted theme, but it will be a nightmare without it working properly. Thanks.
I am super excited for these activities! I’m also really excited for fall. I can’t wait to earn that broom stick and that spooky pond!
OMG webkinz will never believe me but,I put the Inground lap pool in my room and it disapeared its not im my dock but, its still there because when i drag items over where i put i they turn red.
That has been a problem for a while. I have that pool and it is invisible.
Why don’t the pets make eating noises any more? Why did the pictures go away when the pets request exercise?
