Crafty Critterz: Ferrets Favorite Cream Puffs

Submitted by: mad with Alfie               What you need: 1/2 cup Butter Powdered Sugar 1 cup all-purpose Flour 4 Eggs 1 cup of Water 1/8 tsp Salt Sauce Pan Wooden Spoon Filling: Pudding, Whipping Cream and/or Fresh Fruit. What you do: Have an adult assist with steps 1-3 and 6-7 1.     In a sauce pan combine butter, water, salt and bring to a boil. 2.     Add flour and stir fast.  Stir till it forms a firm ball. 3.     Remove from pan and cool for 10 minutes. 4.     Add eggs and beat with a wooden spoon until smooth. 5.     Drop tablespoon sized batter on a greased cookie sheet pan. 6.     Bake at 400 and cook for 30-35 minutes.  Let cool. 7.     Cut each in half and fill with any kind of filling (pudding, whipping cream or fresh fruit). 8.     Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.   Do you have a great idea for a craft, recipe or party game? Crafty Critterz: Character Themed Sugar Cookies

Submitted by: Nan with Gigi                   What you need: 2 cups butter, softened 2 cups white sugar 4 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 6 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 2 bowls Sprinkles Icing sugar Water What you do: In one large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir flour, baking powder, and salt into sugar and egg mixture. Cover, and chill dought overnight. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 400 degress F. With rolling pin – roll out dough on floured surface 1/4 inch thick. Using your favorite character cookie cutters – cut as many cookies as you can.  Roll up scrap pieces of dough and place in refrigerator. Place cookies 1 inch apart on cookie sheets and bake 6 to 8 minutes. Repeat step 7 and 8 until you use all the dough. Once all cookies have cooled, completely mix icing sugar and water to make a paste. Crafty Critterz: Ice Cream Delight

Submitted by: sta with Lily             What you need: 2 Chocolate Chip Cookies 1 scoop of any flavored ice cream Icing Mini Marshmallows 1 Candle What you do: Take 1 scoop of ice cream and place it on one of the cookies. Take the other cookie and place it on top of the ice cream. Put lots of icing in the middle to hold the candle. You can also make a design on the cookie with the icing. Crafty Critterz: Red & White Cake Balls

Submitted by: Gia with Dant                       What you need: 1 box cake mix 1 16oz can frosting 1 package white chocolate chips 1 package red chocolate chips 1 large bowl 2 small bowls White candy sticks Green planters foam What you do: 1.     Prepare and bake cake according to package directions. 2.     Once cake has cooled completely crumble cake into large bowl. 3.     Add can of frosting to bowl and mix with your fingers to make “dough”. 4.     Hand roll the dough into balls and place cookie sheet. 5.     Chill in the freezer for couple of hours. 6.     In smaller bowls, melt chocolate chips in microwave. 7.     Push one candy stick into each ball and dip into melted chocolate, shake off excess and place stick side down into green planters foam. 8.     Decorate each ball and place in decorative glass jar. Healthy Snack: Apple Muffins

        What you need: -          2 cups flour -          1 teaspoon baking soda -          ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon -          ¼ teaspoon ground ginger -          ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg -          teaspoon salt -          2 large eggs -          1 cup plus 2 tablespoons frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed -          2/3  cup buttermilk -          2 tablespoons oat bran -          2 small apples, peeled, cored and chopped -          1/3 cup chopped walnuts -          An adult assistant to help you with this recipe What you do: 1.       Preheat oven to 375°. 2.       Line a muffin tin with 12 paper liners. 3.       In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt and oat bran. 4.       In a medium bowl, combine eggs, apple juice and buttermilk. 5.       Add wet mixture to dry ingredients and mix until just moistened. 6.       Add apples and walnuts. 7.       Spoon mixture into muffin tin. 8.       Have your adult assistant put muffins in the oven and bake for 25 minutes. These muffins are so yummy you’re going to forget that they’re good for you too!

Crafty Critterz: Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip

Submitted by: jor with Sticky fingaz             What you need: 8 oz Hot Sauce 12 oz Cream Cheese 8 oz Ranch Dressing 20 oz Canned chicken in water (Drain the water from the can) Have an adult assist with opening the can. 2 – 3 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese Choice of chips What you do: 1.       Mix all the ingredients together in an oven safe bowl. 2.       Have an adult turn on the oven to 350 degrees. 3.       Bake until completely melted. 4.       Enjoy with your favorite chips!   Do you have a great idea for a craft, recipe or party game?
