T-Shirt Designer Comes To Webkinz World™!
After successfully launching on the Ganz eStore, the T-Shirt Designer has come to Webkinz World! Members can design their own special T-shirt, and get it in the real world! T-shirts you design in Webkinz World can then be ordered through the eStore! The T-Shirt Designer allows you to dress up many of our cool pets or your own personal pets with any of the clothing items found in Webkinz World, pick fun poses, or even add one of our many pre-made symbols to a customized T-Shirt. Set the color of your shirt and add your own text, and then you can order your pre-made shirt in the proper size and wear it in real life! You can find the “T-Shirt Designer” button underneath the “Clothing Machine” button in the KinzStyle Outlet! Visit the KinzStyle Outlet in Webkinz World or the Ganz eStore to design a shirt now! NOTE: The T-Shirt Designer t-shirts are currently only available in Youth sizes and can only be shipped to US and Canadian customers.

We’ve got some exciting news! Webkinz World™ has been awarded the “Best Virtual World Site For Kids” award from About.com! Here’s what About.com had to say about our site: Congratulations to fan favorite, Webkinz World, winner of the 2010 Reader’s Choice Award for Best Virtual World for Kids. The subscription-based website is unlocked through the purchase of a Webkinz stuffed animal. From there, kids are invited to care for their pets, play games, earn coins and decorate their own in-game homes. Webkinz World is a closed community with a nice suite of parental controls. It is highly regarded for quality entertainment and a safe environment. We here at Ganz are very proud to receive this reward from About.com. Preview: Communal Contests
Improving the community is one of our goals for Webkinz World this year, and we’ve been working diligently to reach that goal. We’ve enhanced the community aspects of Webkinz Newz, and we’ve improved the biggest social area in Webkinz World, the Kinzville Park, with some great new features to get more people meeting and chatting with one another. But we’re not done yet! We’ve been working on a brand new feature that will bring together Webkinz World members in a whole new way, and that feature is Communal Contests! This new weekly activity, which can be accessed through the Kinzville Times in Webkinz World, allows members to vote for prizes and participate in competitions every week! Valentine’s Day Contest
Love is in the air as Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and we’ve got the perfect contest for the heart-warming holiday. We want you to write us a romantic rhyming couplet about the Love Lion! The Love Lion is our newest Valentine’s Day seasonal pet, and there is no better way to celebrate its release than to put your words of love into rhyme! Never written a rhyming couplet before? It’s easy. A rhyming couplet is a pair of two lines where the last words of each line rhyme! Come up with a fun one about the Love Lion and love, submit it, and you could win! Winners will receive the rare Bed of Roses (the “prize”), which can only be acquired by registering a certain number of pets. We just gave a few away with our recent Twitter contest, so this will be the last chance to snag one of these superbeds through a contest for a while! We’ve got some exciting news! Webkinz World has officially been nominated as one of the ‘Best Virtual World sites for Kids’ at About.com! Here are the details: Reader’s Choice nominations for the 2010 Best Virtual World for Kids included worlds with monkeys, dinosaurs, pandas, historical characters, robots, penguins, dogs, bears, cats and more. Parents and kids visited in droves to share why their virtual world was the best. With nearly 40 sites in the running the competition was fierce. The top 5 in this category were selected largely based on the number of nominations received. We’re extremely proud to have been nominated, and now we need your help to win! We’ve got a big Webkinz World update today, with a brand new activity and new items. Here’s some of the fresh content new to Webkinz World today: Keeping The Park Clean: The Kinzville Park is covered in trash! Some visitors haven’t been cleaning up after themselves, and now it’s up to you to clean up the park. Pick up trash to raise your “Green Score” in order to earn prizes and special rankings to show off on your MyPage! New Space Theme: Send your Webkinz pets into space in style with the spectacular Space theme, called the “Galaxy Collection.” A selection of items from this theme has been released this week! Bug Fixes: We’ve fixed a few bugs around Webkinz World, as well, including an issue with KinzChat Plus in the Kinzville Park, an issue which prevented members from purchasing the special Sale item in the KinzStyle Outlet, and an issue in which the Game Of The Day didn’t appear in the Arcade. Valentine’s Day: Pets, Prizes, And More!
Love is in the air this February, and Valentine’s Day is coming! In the spirit of the season, there are some great Webkinz great plush and surprises on the way. Headlining the holiday is our collection of special seasonal pets, including the Love Frog, Love Monkey, and the brand new Love Lion! We’ll also have a very special Valentine’s pet available to all members through the Ganz eStore this month: the Love Kitten! Last year’s pet, the Love Dino, is also available on select days this month, but it is only available to Deluxe Advantage members. We’ve also got some really great new Valentine’s Day eStore items coming, as well. Better yet, logging into Webkinz World on Valentine’s Day will net some special surprises, there are themed Quick draws on Valentine’s Day weekend, and there’s a Webkinz Newz contest with a really romantic prize! Preview: Keeping The Park Clean
After spending the last two months working hard on the Webkinz Arcade, we’ve decided to focus our energies on a different part of the site. After launching late last year, the Kinzville Park has become a popular place to play in Webkinz World. There’s always new people to meet and play with in the Park! While the park has become popular, though, it has also become dirty. Trash has begun to appear in the park, and it’s up to us to think of the environment and clean up the park! That’s why we’ve got a brand new activity called “Keeping The Park Clean,” which challenges each and every one of you to help us keep the park pristine!
