Submitted by: mad with Wingy What you need: 6 Black pipe cleaners 5 pieces of white yarn 1 Black Button 1 piece of white construction paper Scissors Hole puncher What you do: Goal 1. Take 4 pieces of pipe cleaners and put them together to make a goal. 2. Take 5 pieces of white yarn and tie them to the goal. Hockey Stick 3. Take 2 pieces of pipe cleaners and make a little circle on both. 4. Make a little piece of pipe cleaner and make a circle on one end of the pipe cleaner. Whistle Necklace 5. Now with the circle, make a little pipe cleaner (about 1 inch) in the shape of a circle. 6. Take 1 piece construction paper and draw a little whistle and cut it out. 7. With the circle and pipe cleaner (1 inch), and with the little whistle, hole punch a little hole in the pipe cleaner and rap around the whistle Do you have a great idea for a craft, recipe or party game? Crafty Critterz: Ice Cream Delight
Submitted by: sta with Lily What you need: 2 Chocolate Chip Cookies 1 scoop of any flavored ice cream Icing Mini Marshmallows 1 Candle What you do: Take 1 scoop of ice cream and place it on one of the cookies. Take the other cookie and place it on top of the ice cream. Put lots of icing in the middle to hold the candle. You can also make a design on the cookie with the icing. Crafty Critterz: Red & White Cake Balls
Submitted by: Gia with Dant What you need: 1 box cake mix 1 16oz can frosting 1 package white chocolate chips 1 package red chocolate chips 1 large bowl 2 small bowls White candy sticks Green planters foam What you do: 1. Prepare and bake cake according to package directions. 2. Once cake has cooled completely crumble cake into large bowl. 3. Add can of frosting to bowl and mix with your fingers to make “dough”. 4. Hand roll the dough into balls and place cookie sheet. 5. Chill in the freezer for couple of hours. 6. In smaller bowls, melt chocolate chips in microwave. 7. Push one candy stick into each ball and dip into melted chocolate, shake off excess and place stick side down into green planters foam. 8. Decorate each ball and place in decorative glass jar. Submitted by: Ali with Alie What you need: Any kind of box Tape Glue Red & Yellow Paint Ruler Cotton Balls Scissors – Have an adult assist with all the cutting in this Craft What to do: 1. Use the ruler to measure a diameter of about 7 inches on the cardboard box. 2. Draw and cut out the circle. 3. Cut out another circle identical to the first one. Set them aside. 4. Cut out a strip of cardboard that measure 4.5 inches by 20.25 inches. 5. Tape one circle to each side of the cardboard strip. 6. Cut out another strip that measure 5.5 inches by 10 inches. 7. Fold in 2 inches on each side of the 2nd strip you just cut out. 8. From there, fold that in half. 9. Tape together the two 2 inches parts to form a triangle. 10. On the one part (the first parts you have already put together) stretch a long piece of tape across to hold together the two circles, so the middle does not bend. 11. Mix all the ingredients together in an oven safe bowl. 2. Have an adult turn on the oven to 350 degrees. 3. Bake until completely melted. 4. Enjoy with your favorite chips! Submitted by: hot with Lilly What you need: Thin cardboard White paper Markers Stickers Stamps Glue What you do: 1. Have an adult assist with cutting a piece of cardboard into a perfect square. Big enough for your pet to dance on. 2. Cut a sheet of white paper the same shape and glue it on. 3. Attach another small piece of cardboard to one side, and draw a screen in which arrows are going up the screen. 4. Draw four arrows on the dance floor, each pointing outwards on a corner, and draw a square in the middle of the floor. 5. Crafty Critterz: Fishsicle Recipe
Submitted by: top with Alyssa What you need: 1 package Sugar cookie mix ¼ cup white icing Blue food coloring Sliced Almonds 1 raisin 1 wooden stick 1 clear plastic baggie Cookie sheet What you do: 1. Prepare sugar cookie mix. (as per package instructions) 2. Flatten on a cookie sheet and have an adult assist with cutting it into a shape of a fish. 3. Carefully insert stick into tail of fish. 4. Bake as per package instructions and allow cooling. 5. Stir 3-5 drops of blue food coloring into the white icing. 6. Spread blue icing onto cool cookie smoothly. 7. Place raisin where eye should be. 8. Layer sliced almonds slightly overlapping in center of fish shape to represent scales. 9. Place in baggie and enjoy! Submitted by: tef with blufadoodle What you need: Big wide box Any color of cloth or pillowcase Paper Markers Scissors Tape Two ribbons Pencil 1 inch x 1 inch piece of wood Ruler What you do: 1. Cover box with pillow case Lead Singer’s Outfit & Objects: 2. Microphone – make out of paper, tape to pencil, and tape pencil to piece of wood. 3. Sunglasses – make sunglasses shape, color and cut out. Guitarist’s Outfit & Objects: 4. Guitar – Make a rockin’ guitar out of paper. Attach ribbon to guitar. 5. Armbands – cut 2 to 3 inches of paper. Repeat. Decorate with cool designs. Fold around your pet’s arms and tape. 6. Headband / Sweatband – take ribbon and tie it around guitarist’s head. Drummer’s Outfit & Objects: 7.
