I love all the new ‘looks’ each Christmas. From the different trees, the store fronts, the fences and lamp posts with festive greenery. . . I have more ‘Christmas rooms’ than regular and always spend a fortune on all the new stuff. It’s one holiday season I’m always on Webkinz ) That and Halloween. !!
I know a lot of you are going to miss the candy cane event this year but don’t forget they are giving us a free pet. And that puppy is adorable! Plus there is a whole new Christmas theme at the W shop this year too and also the dig the pig event to get us free prizes. I think that Ganz has done a wonderful job this Christmas to ensure we all have a wonderful Webkinz Holiday Season!

My favourite Webkinz holiday event is (and always has been, probably always will be) Ms Birdy’s Countdown to Christmas event, so I’m looking forward to that. I must say though, while I’m looking forward to the Snowy Retriever Puppy event (a LOT!), I am disappointed there won’t be a Candy Cane Collection event – it was a close second favourite of mine.
Christmas is my favorite! Especially in Webkinz! This is gonna be fantastic, and I still don’t know what I’m gonna ask SantaKinz for! Although if someone could send me the Home for the Holidays Flooring, that’d be so great! I’ll send you something in return! -001meg

I usually don’t make it to all the events, but celebrating Christmas online is so much fun!
I wonder if they could bring back the candy collection event next year if enough people want it back? I know I really, really enjoyed that event a lot and looked forward to it each year. I miss it a lot.
I don’t have a favorite Webkinz holiday event. I enjoy each event, and the awesome prizes that are made available for us to win.
My favorite Webkinz Christmas event? The Candy Cane Collection. I loved that the artists designed special little themes for us, the items were always so beautiful, creative & wonderful. And I really loved sending candy canes to friends & receiving them as well. I can’t believe this extremely popular event has been cancelled. It really put the “social” in “social media” here. Are all of such events cancelled for the future? I sure hope not. Merry Christmas.

I am thinking because the focus seems to be on getting this new pet and they are offering SO much in the line of new items, that maybe the Candy Cane Collection is the one most would not really miss because there are so many other collection events throughout the year. With the Valentines, Marshmallow, Acorn and Flower collection events, we still have those to look forward to.
I really hope they bring it back next year too.. I’m assumed the “medallion collection” is the replacement for our candy cane collection this year. Hopefully this isn’t permanent for the next few years! And although I doubt they would stop doing all collection events, I really hope they don’t.
They canceled the marshmallow collection this year too. I’m afraid that collection events are going away over pet medallions.
No, they actually didn’t! The prizes were different than the typical “camping” prizes, but it was still there – the same Marshmallow Collection in June. =)
