A new 8 step challenge starts today and will run until midnight, Friday, July 31 (EST), on Webkinz Classic. When you complete each step of the challenge, you’ll be awarded an Ice Cream Social Gift Box that you can use to choose your own prize!
Here’s how to play: Look for the Ice Cream Social Challenge icon on your Webkinz Classic account (desktop and browser versions of Webkinz Classic only). It will be displayed along the left side of your screen:
There are three tasks you’ll need to complete to finish each step of this challenge: Earn a specific amount of points during one game of Cash Cow 2, make 5 wishes at Wishing Well 2, and feed your pet an Ice Cream Cone from the WShop:
The number of points you’ll need to earn during one game of Cash Cow 2 increases with each step of the challenge, making it more difficult as you progress.
You can play Cash Cow 2 at the Games Arcade on Webkinz Classic (desktop and browser versions of Webkinz Classic only):
During the game, click on groups of 2 or more bottles of matching color to remove them. The larger the group, the more points you will get! If you make enough points in a level to reach the goal, you will move on to the next level:
You’ll also need to play Wishing Well 2 at the Games Arcade during the Ice Cream Social Challenge. You only need to make 5 wishes to complete each step of the challenge, so this can easily be completed in one day:
Finally, you’ll need to feed your pet an Ice Cream Cone from the WShop to complete each step of the challenge, so this task can be easily complete in one day as well.
You’ll find Ice Cream Cones in the Food > Ingredients section of the WShop. It’s available on Page 4:
Drag an Ice Cream Cone from your Dock, onto your Webkinz to feed your pet.
When you manage to complete each step of this challenge you’ll win an Ice Cream Social Gift Box:
Drag the gift box from your Dock into your room to open it. Then, choose which prize you would like to keep:
There are eight prizes to choose from, so, if you manage to complete all 8 steps of this challenge by midnight, Friday, July 31 (EST), you’ll be able to collect all eight prizes, or choose duplicates of your favorite prizes.

This quest was too difficult!! Couldn’t get past level 6!
I’m glad everyone else is complaining about this. This challenge should have been a month long one, given that you can only complete the wishes once per day. The fact that the majority of Webkinz players are now adults, presumably with jobs, not many can afford to invest the 8 hours per day necessary to complete multiple large scale challenges at the same time. This past month has been too much.
I have several questions. I have not completed the challenge because of burnout. I reached the 8th step Saturday night, didn’t play this game at all on Sunday, and only about 5 games each day since. I know I won’t pass it (because that would take probably 100 games), and the only reason I’m trying to is find the orange bottle/s. I knew Michael was great at this game and found out Sally was excellent because someone mentioned it. What about the other team members? Have they been able to pass this challenge? Also, Level 6 is where the red bottles come in. Is that the red/orange that Lightningbug said it might be? Please tell us what level is the orange bottle/s. Gingerdare said DON’T pop the orange one, so is it just one bottle? Since so many of us are frustrated, it would be nice to get some answers.
There’s a “chocolate milk” bottle that shows up — it earns a point every time you clear another set of bottles. So you want to keep that on screen for as long as possible.
thank you sally and all but I can’t get past seven, at all, wish they would let us just play add up the points, then I could just play thousand times in role, lol, I make it so close so close. but maybe you bring these items back, just another game, maybe, love the items, the great items are to hard to win, thnak you.
WHEW! What a challenge Cash Cow 2 is!! Especially levels 7 and 8!! We followed the tips shared by gingerdare (Thank you!) couldn’t get past 950-1100 point range. Sometimes only getting 400-500 points over many attempts. Really seemed impossible and even stepped away from trying. But finally completed this challenge with a final score of 1517! Our highest ever. One extra tip in case it wasn’t shared– make chains of at least 3 to 4 caps or greater when possible. Removing 2 caps doesn’t move the gauge as much. Also, when you reach the orange cap level, try and leave as many of those as you can to remove later while removing other colors first, it seems the orange caps are higher in points. That’s the only way we were able to reach the Ice Cream Social goal. Good luck to all!!!
thanks, I will try this I have tried everything, so frustrating, to get so close like wacky days, I get to 599 or 598. something, my luck, never trophy don’t even try. just like the wheel of wishes. I always get right to an item and just coins, even on the wheel of wishes, every time right at it, hope they bring back items. I love the items on the vacation that cabinet for hotel, always right in front, stops every time. thank you so much for any help. hope they bring this theme to us . love it. and many more, we can always use more than one, for our rooms. we can do this.
@1lightningbug Congratulations! you have done quite well. Don’t know why the game is so hard to get a decent score it looks so easy. Thank you for your tips, at what level did you find the orange caps? I have never seen them all the games I have played over the years. The level with the red caps is almost impossible for me to get through have only done this twice.
I think it’s level 6 when the red/orange caps start! Screen colors can be a bit different. I also tried removing large groups at times to get bigger scoring. This game is definitely harder than it should be, but keep trying!
At last I finally conquered and completed the Ice-Cream Social Cash Cow 2 8-Step Challenge. I felt that right from the beginning of this challenge it was ridiculous and too difficult to achieve the scores that were expected for players to get. Many players are not good at games, and are not able to get the scores expected. THIS CHALLENGE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A CUMULATIVE SCORE so the players would be able to at least complete all of the 8-steps and earn 8 of the Ice Cream Social Gift Box. I was determined that I would complete this very hard task after a long hard fight I was able to complete 1/11 of my accounts. My highest score I ever was able to get playing Cash Cow 2 was 1506 points I have played a lot of games today I was only able to get a score of 1408. I will not be even working on the other accounts I don’t want to play Cash Cow 2 for a very long time. ~ shelkinz67
I can’t get passed level 7 I did 1-6 without difficulty but on my 2 accounts I can’t do level 7 !! can’t you make it a total of 1200 points? I can just imagine the number for level 8
I’m sorry to I have been so upset at this game and it was a fun game, I can’t get past four hundred and something over thirty times tried, two accounts, my friend and me both, have trouble i was wondering is it me, or what i really thought I’m so terrible at this, I came so close so close once the 1000 one or it was 1100 i made it right to it and no. can we just play and let it add up let it count for the game, see if they are as many as i think who can do this one, thank you, love this theme please make more of this theme just let it add up no you have to have the whole amount at once will never happen.
Okay. 1482!!!!! I can’t even count how many times I have played this game. I would get so close…12–. Then, finally, after spending way too much time sitting at this computer, I did it. Whoop! I am still in shock. But, seriously, this was way too hard. I love playing Webkinz, but hours upon hours to win a trophy is crazy.
I thought I was pretty good at CashCow 2. 500-700 point games, ~1100 as my previous high score. It took me 55 games to make the 1200 point score to pass level 7, not even bothering to try for the 1300 points to complete the Challenge. For me, the prizes are pretty boring anyway. And, to agree with many others, I am disappointed that Ganz has not responded to this situation at all.
I can’t believe that GANZ has not even commented on all the frustration uers are experiencing. I truly love all the years I have been playing. Some of the games I play are getting harder, but I persevere. There are many games in NEXT that I am unable to play because they are just too hard for me. I strongly dislike the fact that you cannot choose the games you want to play in the academy. In closing….I must say again that the Cash Cow challenge is beyond my ability to complete and I am tired of trying!!
Every time I close my eyes I see those milk bottles. LOL I am attempting this challenge in 9 different accounts. Four of them are my accounts. The others belong to friends who actually have lives and don’t have as much time on their hands as I do. (I am 59, widowed, and disabled.) The game is growing on me.
