The Fall Fair is over and Salley and Purr-cilla and I had a meeting to count the KinzCash and review the day.

Wow! When we finished counting the KinzCash, it turned out that we made a huge profit! Looks like we made over 1500 KC! That is great! We can use that money to buy some fun sports equipment for the gym, or some new books for the library, or we could plan another event and use some of the funds to support that.

Everybody seemed to have had a really good time. Roberta said that Dr. Quack looked really green when he got off the Mine Cart Ride, but everyone else really seemed to enjoy it. Even Millie went on and it turned out that she wasn’t scared at all. The Bumper Cars were a hit – we couldn’t keep Booger out of them. Every time he got off he just ran back to the end of the line to go on again. He especially liked bumping Goober, it seemed.

The Face Painting was a big hit. Nibbles was really good at that – she turned Millie into an ugly looking green witch. Too bad Halloween is over. The games raised a lot of money and just about everybody got to take home a prize – we had so many great donations.

And then there was the cupcake contest. Chef Gazpacho seemed really impressed with all the entries, but I’m not so sure how Fluffington did with the judging. He seemed to be really overcome, and having a hard time making a decision. Not to mention that he kept sneaking the extra cupcakes. It’s a good thing he donated so much stuff to the fair because I think he ate more than his fair share of cupcakes. Plus, after all that, he didn’t even announce the winner! What’s with that? We all gathered ‘round to ask him at the end of the fair, but he said we would just have to wait and find out from Ms. Cowoline on Monday. That dude needs to spend less time eating and more time judging.

Afterward, when we were cleaning up and waiting for the rental company to come and pick up the rides, Ms. Cowoline called the three of us into her office and told us how proud she was at how we pulled the whole thing off. And you know what? I’m pretty proud of us too!
