Unfortunately I was one of those players waiting for the retired items to be announced ahead of time, so I did not get them. You win some, you lose some I guess! On the bright side, the new items do look really nice!!

I see that players are asking about when the Time Machine will be fixed, that is an item I’ve been anxiously waiting for too as it figures heavily in the plot of my next new story…..but even more crucial to my current task is to have the Enchanted Train Station Wall Paper working again ASAP. I though I was the only one who recalled the animated walls on this one. I would love to see the trains pulling in again.

The ones that are hundreads of tokens are not exclusive items. Those ones are all items from past events and things like Webkinz Friends App prizes. To me it makes no sense for them to suddenly raise the cost of the actual exclusive items (meaning the ones you can win from adopting a pet) after all these years of them always being 15 for new ones, 10 or 12 for older ones, to now 30 for new ones and not even lowering the cost of the last batch at all. I don’t think 30 tokens is a reasonable cost for them, especially with how few are actually awarded in the games and such like the token balloon darts, wheel of wishes… etc. I don’t know about everyone else but for me, I almost never get them from these events anymore.
I loved the sandcastle! I really wanted one. Wish we could get info on what is retiring so we could use our tokens to get them. This type of info should be not only on WebKinz Newz, on the front page where we can see it *all* *the* *time*! But also in Webkinz World! We should have months to prepare for losing these items. Think of people that have been trying to get the amount of Wish Tokens just to get these items. It takes so long to get all the Wish Tokens you need just to get something like the sand castle. Speaking of Wish Tokens, why is it so hard to get a token, or even the two tokens, on the Wheel of Wishes? I’m tired of not getting a token! The Wheel of Wishes should be nothing but tokens! Going from one, two, or even three tokens! Anyway, I think the Peridot Geode and the Weathered Wood Armoire, are lovely. Not too crazy about the Giant Gladiolus Garden, although it is pretty. I know many Webkinz users will love it. And PLEASE fix the Time Machine so it will work again!
When I spin the Wheel of Wishes I’m like………………”YES I’m going to get it!!!” And then it lands right on the one next to it that I did not want:( It’s kinda like it tricked me into thinking I was going to get it lol. It is very frustrating, like why put something in the wheel if you never get it?

This is what happened when they retired items from Jumbleberry Fields, they gave a warning but it wasn’t nearly long enough to actually secure the items as JF prize pool takes time and daily activity to access.
I also agree that Wheel of Wishes should never come off feeling like you lost by getting a little extra cash or recipe foods. I don’t mind having rare items on there, those are great to win, but it’s a bummer more often than not.
Hi, KarenaJ–did you know that you can save your bonus plays of Jumbleberry Fields (Days of Play)? It’s not a lot, but it could help when you need it. I also have some of the berries in my garden, so I can harvest a few extra berries to help me get there. I won some for a challenge a while back; but if you have eStore points you can buy the berry seeds and grow some. I also have been known to hold onto a full jar of preserves, since I can still collect berries in my dock. It’s usually because I haven’t decided what prize to choose, lol. I could then redeem the full jar for a prize that’s retiring, if I happen to have it at the right time. I would love to have more Jumbleberry Fields plays, or more ways to win berries, though.

It might be firstworld webkinz problems, but my issue is how HARD it is to enter the wish tokens in the wish machine when you get them. I have literally 200-300 wish tokens in 4 or 5 accounts right now, just sitting in my dock from where they have actually added up, but every time I go to drop them in the machine, I get continuous ‘please wait…’ It ‘please wait’s me, to get to the machine, to listen to Amanda drone on and on with her never-ending repetitive spiel (oh hai! can not-NEW players have a bypass button for folks like Arte, Amanda, Polly….?), and then it ‘please wait’s me unto eternity to accept a token and acknowledge it on the counter. Rinse, repeat. I don’t have time to ‘please wait’ that nonsense out for. every. single. token. (Plus, yeah….every time there is a prize I want, I get nothing but tokens every spin. Although clearly this is a problem a lot of players would like to have. And don’t get me wrong, there are prizes I want very much from that machine. Amanda just won’t take my tokens without being absolutely ridiculous!)
I get your frustration, I have it too, it takes sooooooo long just to put ONE token in, and yeah I don’t like the ‘please wait…’ thing either, its gets on your nerves. ‘I hope your wishes come true’ uhh, they wont come true if you wont take my tokens.
Yes, Wizardsroost, it can be a bit annyoing when the tokens take a while to drop into the Wish Machine. But, with every token, there is a chance at a Super Token, which means it could be worth from 2 to 10 tokens. Every time I add a token, I think, “Super Token…Super Token…” Lol. Hopefully that helps ease the pain of the wait.
Since I didn’t have very many of these exclusive prizes and I didn’t know which one was retiring, I spent quite a lot of tokens getting a few items that I loved, admired and wanted. I did get one Time Warp Clock and I’m very happy about that. I didn’t pick up the Seaside Palace Sandcastle, but I guess that’s okay. I’m glad the new items are only 30 tokens because I feel like I will eventually get there. Those 300 and 100 items feel so out of reach. Has anyone gotten the Weathered Wood Armoire yet? How does it look with some of the other similar pieces we have gotten lately?
The Armoire looks really nice with the beach house theme items, it is the same color aqua and has seashells on the side with an anchor on the back.

I have so many new rooms started and ideas for rooms. It’s awesome! I did have a question for you though. I sent you lake tiles for midnightflies17 yesterday and it suddenly dawned on me today, that if she only has mobile right now she could win a Wacky Go Kart and not have the clothes from WackyER Zingoz. That’s just so wrong and everyone needs those Wacky Glasses. I adore them. You might already have her covered, but if not I can send you a set to give to her. Two more spins on the wheel of WOW and I have that beautiful scooter. And, Ganz told us the odds on getting a Go Kart were increased and boy were they. I’ve already gotten several so once I get the scooter I’m making a fun outdoor Wacky room. Woo-Hoo! I will send you some of the prizes for Midnight today. I had been saving my Wish Tokens, so I was able to get at least one of each new item. My favorite is the Peridot Geode Divider because peridot is my birthstone – It’s also one of my favorite colors. After I put a Giant Gladiolus Garden in one of my garden rooms I discovered that it changes colors when turned, so I went back and got another one! These are definitely the best new Exclusives ever! :-)

It starts pink, then depending on how many turns you make, it becomes blue, yellow, and purple. It takes up 4 squares.

Wow – that really is a giant gladiolus garden! Thanks for the info – I was wondering if it was worth 30 tokens. I think I might hold off getting it until I can find just the right spot for it – we got so many flower prizes this past spring – but that’s a good thing.

The wood armoire is our favorite in the newly released. Our all-time favorites include the wooden horse, the time machine and the haunted painting.
