There’s an important update to how you do Peek-a-Newz!
Going forward, Webkinz Newz users who are trying to award prizes to different accounts will need to clear their internet browser’s cache in between each attempt to win their prize!
Please note:
To award Peek-A-Newz Prizes to multiple accounts, please log out of your GanzWorld account, clear your cache and complete the Peek-A-Newz as a NON-logged in user.
*Remember: All Webkinz Newz events are reset after 24 hours (and not at midnight) so you will have to wait a full 24 hours from your last prize redemtion until you can win again.
In order to clear your cache, just follow these simple, browser-specific directions.
On Google Chrome…
- Click on the Google Chrome Control Menu button in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Tools > Clear Browsing Data
- A new tab will open; make sure ‘Empty the Cache’ and ‘Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data’ are selected in the check boxes.
- Click ‘Clear Browsing Data’ and you’re done!
On Mozilla Firefox
- Select Tools in the top menu.
- Select Clear Recent History.
- When the pop up window comes up, make sure that you select an appropriate time range to clear and that the Cookies and Cache boxes are checked.
- Click Clear Now and you’re done!
On Internet Explorer 9
- Click the Gear at the top right corner of the settings menu.
- Select Safety > Delete Browsing History.
- Make sure Temporary Internet Files is selected. Uncheck all of the other boxes.
- Click Delete and you’re done!
On Safari
- In the Safari Menu (top left) click Empty Cache.
I hate this idea with the Peek a Newz! First of all, does Ganz not realize that many of us have busy lives outside of Webkinz World? Not all of us will know when the last time was we got the prize and many of us have different schedules each day so doing this stuff at the same time each day will not work! I do not understand this change at all…why is it needed? Please go back to resetting after midnight that way none of us will have to worry! Also, I just wasted time doing a Peek-A-Newz thinking I could get the prize…well apparently my 24 hours was not up because at the end of finding ALL 5 of them it told me it was expired! Would have been nice if it said this when I first clicked on it and not at the very end!

Would you please, please, please change this back to the way it was?!!! I really dislike having to go through all this extra work to get prizes to multiple accounts. Or I don’t log in, but then you don’t get Moneyz. It is also a pain to have to wait 24 hours. Not everyone can play at the same time every day. The way this is, I’ll probably be missing the prizes every other day. Either that, or I’ll become so fed up with this that I won’t be here much. Please listen to us Ganz, and change this back!!!
Another reason the 24 hour reset is not good – it does not allow you to be flexible or plan ahead. What if my reset time is 6pm, but I know tomorrow I will be gone all evening. I need to be able to click for my prizes earlier – before I go out! This 24 hour reset is really not fair! Please change it!!
Once I spend my rewards on an account then every time I want to redeem my rewards it goes to the same account and I don’t have a choice to send to other accounts. I hope that you fix this so that we are not stuck with the same account all the time. Many of us have more than two or three accounts
hi. I still cannot access the button reqired to even begin playing peek-a-news on this new site. PLEASE FIX IN TIME FOR ME TO WIN SOME NEW CLOTHES IN JANUARY, OR RUN THIS AGAIN WHEN IT HAS BEEN FIXED :) thanks
It still doesn’t work for more than one account. Please fix. Even opening a second webkinz news account under a different email doesn’t work.
I only have 1 account, and I keep getting “campaign expired” when I find her the 5th time.
all these new updates are too much trouble and the prizes are not up to par, I don’t think I’ll be coming here anymore.
Sad to see these changes come and require to participate in them you have to be a deluxe member. Please reconsider these changes. Thank you.
