We’ve got some great news for all wonderful Webkinz World members – even after your membership expires, you’ll still be able to continue playing with all your pets, rooms and stuff (some sections will be limited)! If you know a friend with an expired account, they can come back and play in Webkinz World again (as long as they’ve played in the last year). This is amazing news and we’re so happy we could share it with you!

Sounds great, but what are the limitations? And is this in exchange for non- WebKinz ads like the Pizza Hut one and others I see here? I don’t remember ever seeing ads like that before, but usually I go straight into my rooms and don’t check the news that often.
This is very concerning to me, as I have always felt Webkinz was a wholesome kid friendly site. With no violent games and a variety of fun and educational things to do, I felt comfortable letting my kids play on WebKinz. Having direct links to non-Webkinz sites worries me as this increases the risk of clicking on something inappropriate or purchasing something without realizing it.
Also, in my experience, having several ads loading and running at once slows down my processor considerably and at times freezes up my computer. I prefer to log off rather than reboot my computer in the middle of a program.
I think spending $15 -$25 for a pet every year is not too much to pay for peace of mind. By the way, we have bought more than one pet each year since joining, and it has been fun. All the pushes for getting the Deluxe Membership recently has been annoying, but tolerable. Keep up the good work!
I think it’s absolutely wrong that we can’t send gifts to people once the account ‘expires’ You’re basically saying don’t share with others and don’t give. I am very upset about this

Hey I had one more thing I needed to add. My little cousin couldn’t get on because her acount expired! She will be happy and Thank you! My Grandpa buys me them all the time so now he doesn’t have to pay 15 stinken bucks for a stuffed animal. I have enough as it is
