Our next release in Webkinz Next is going to be SWEET.
We are soon to be releasing a new feature that’s all about delicious cake.
The release is coming in early August and, though I can’t tell you much about this awesome new feature, I wanted us all to take a much needed break in our week to appreciate some of the most incredible cakes to enter the Webkinz universe.
Of course, cake is a many-layered issue. Compiling a list of my top 10 was not easy but, I think I’ve sprinkled in the yummiest options.
10. Cheerleader Cheesecake
This slice of cake was a prize from the Cheerleader Challenge in Webkinz Classic. I think all cheerleaders deserve cake for their incredible athletics and high-spirited hoorays. This cheesecake looks like it has some strawberry swirls which is a GREAT cheesecake quality. And, the chocolate strawberry on the side is a little cheesy but…of course it is.
9. Sweetheart Cakes
Remember these cake-beauties from the Valentine’s Community Challenge in Webkinz Next? I still remember finishing recipe after recipe just so we could all win the Sweetheart Tea Time Set. I think any cake that celebrates love is worth eating, don’t you? Hmm…this list is starting to make me hungry.
8. Goodbye Cupcake
The SADDEST cupcake in the world and yet, it’s still festive and perfect like every cupcake should be. This cupcake was placed in some retired pets giftboxes and isn’t a goodbye cupcake the perfect way to honor our tears? To the goodbye cupcake: thank you for being there.
7. Carrot Cake
I just really love carrot cake and I am grateful to our team for designing this version of my personal favorite.
6. Mazin’ Black Forest Cake
Ok: CUTE. We are getting cuter! This was a cake from Webkinz Classic but of course we must include it because of the new Mazin’ Run game in Webkinz Next.
5. Gingerbread Cheesecake
When you look at this cake does it make you smile? Perfect for the holidays, right? And gingerbread cake is such a great invention!
4. Webkinz Day 2023 Cake
The limes are gorgeous and such a special choice for a special occasion. I love the texture on the cake and the Magic W is undeniably happy.
3. Webkinz Day Year 7 Cake
Well, this one made me laugh which is why it is a definite 3. Jellybeans in a cake are so funny and borderline brilliant. Plus, a Banan on top of that? This is one sweet cake!
2. Turkey Cake Pop
I want a CASE of these at Thanksgiving, one for everyone I know. Can’t you see them as the most perfect desert? This cake pop is unbeatably fabulous.
1. Mazin’ Carrot Cake
Another Mazin’ cake! I just love how these cakes are FULL cakes and, of course, representing my favorite kind of cake in the world: Carrot cake.

Oooooo… Dorothy Lou, a food article… is Sally Webkinz rubbing off on you?!? LOL! My favorite from this list is the cheerleader cheesecake, hands down. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and I would never dream of having my pets EAT it. It’s more like a work of art. I would be happy to try it irl though! How does one acquire the cute gingerbread cheesecake, as I have never seen it before? I’ve also never seen the teardrop cupcake, but that would probably just make me cry. Retirement should rather come with a plaque or something thanking you for your x-many years of faithful service. Tear-filled cake sounds soggy and salty. LOL! I look forward to the new Next feature which involves cake (can’t go wrong there!)
My Opa’s favorite is Carrot Cake.
