Nibbles here. What a week! First I find out they are holding auditions for ‘Kinzville Sings’. The place is going crazy with ‘Kinzville Sings’ fever! Cowabelle can’t seem to talk about anything else.
Then today Alex called me and asked me to come and meet him at the Arcade. He is kind of sick of all the ‘Kinzville Sings’ talk so I figured he just wanted to hang out for a bit and get away from it all. He said that he had a special surprise for me. I couldn’t really think what it could be. I thought maybe he wanted to show me the new game, Leapin’ Llamas, since I hadn’t tried it yet and he said it was really fun.
So I headed over to the Arcade to hang with Alex. We played a few games (he was right – Leapin’ Llamas IS fun!) and then he looked at the clock and suddenly started hurrying me to go for a snack in the Arcade cafeteria. I walked into the cafeteria and turned to ask Alex what he wanted when I noticed him standing there with a big smile on his face, looking at something. I looked over and my jaw must have hit the floor. Standing there was my friend, Laurabeard!
As soon as I saw her she ran over and gave me a huge hug. Then she turned and hugged Alex and said, “Thanks for helping me surprise her, Alex.” I couldn’t believe it – he and Laurabeard conspired together to surprise me!
I was so happy I thought I was going to cry! I’ve missed Laurabeard so much since she went off with her brother, Dogbeard, on his pirate ship, and now not only was she back but she was going to be here for my sister’s wedding!
The three of us got a table and Alex went and ordered us a pizza and then Laurabeard started telling us all about the exciting adventures she’d had on her voyage.

awsome! top bad for alex though, no one understands that he doesn’t want to perform! which is totally fine by me. i would NEVER force anyone to do something they don’t want to do! and yay, LAURA’S BACK! its sortta cool how they made you surprised!

That’s awesome, Nibbles! And that’s super sweet that Alex helped Laurabeard surprise you! I think Laurabeard was just as happy to see you as you were to see her! Oh, and when is Plumpy’s wedding again?
