All About Kids in Webkinz Next!

Ever notice cute pets running around Webkinz Next that are smaller than the regular pets? Those are Webkinz kids and they’re oh so adorable!

Of course, everyone knows that in Webkinz Next you can spark baby pets by combining the Sparks of two of your pets. But what happens when babies grow up? Well, if your baby experiences 15 Growth Moments, which you get by fulfilling your baby’s pet requests, playing with it, and sending it to daycare, you’ll have the option to grow your baby into a kid.

Kids are similar to adult pets, in that you can take them out to Kinzville on their own and play with them, but they’re little! And like babies, kids need to experience Growth Moments in order to grow. In order to generate kids’ Growth Moments, you need to fulfil their pet requests.

Kids have two types of requests. You receive a maximum of one Growth Moment request every eight hours. All other requests are regular pet requests that add to your pet care. Once that kid’s Pet Care Heart is full, you don’t receive any more requests that day. Growth requests also fill pet care.

You only receive pet requests from your kid when you are play with it as your active pet, so be sure to play with it often!

Once you have generated 15 Growth Moments for your kid, you’ll have the option to grow your kid into an adult. After you grow your kid into an adult, the first time you fulfil a pet request, you’ll receive your pet’s Giftbox with their special item and food.

But if you just love having that cute little pet running around, don’t worry – you don’t have to grow your kid! You can keep it little! And of course, if you DO choose to grow your kid, it will get three Sparks which you can use to spark more Webkinz babies and grow more Webkinz kids!

Have you noticed that the kids speak a different kind of language than the grown ups? (my kid says “hey man”… and stuff).

I noticed that too for most of the pets that I had when they were kids. But I find it a bit jarring that the two kid pets that I have literally have used the same language as the adults with no variation whatsoever. Maybe they are around so many of my adult pets that they speak in the same way as the adults?

I haven’t heard a kid speak a different language but I heard a Baby grunt and saying mama if you give the baby a wrong thing it will grunt
