WEBKINZ CREATORS!!!!! How did you know that this old Lady (me!) LOVES Paperdolls? I grew up playing with paperdolls! How wonderful to introduce players that have never had paperdolls. I will add these cuties to my paperdoll collection. I have paperdolls from the 1930s and 40s that were my mother’s, and my paperdolls from the late 1950s till now. These cute paperdolls are the BEST gift EVER! Thank you so much!!! One is NEVER too old for paperdolls!!! :-)
Same here! I have a medium sized tote with paper dolls that I’ve had since childhood. My mother even found a paper doll set like the one she had as a child for my collection. This appeals to my heart so much! We are very happy grannies right now!!
My mother was a little girl during the Great Depression – the youngest of nine children. There wasn’t money for toys but she told me that she and her sister were given paper dolls to play with because they were pretty cheap at the 5 & dime store. Her favorites were the Royal Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret Rose and mom said they were played with until they just fell apart. That’s amazing that you both still have your childhood treasures. I’m going to try to enlarge these images and print them out on cardstock or photo paper to make them more durable.
