I know this is not the place to put this, but I wanted to bring something to the Webkinz Teams attention. I was playing a game of Super Model in the Tournament Arena and I won the first round of the game. I clicked “Next” and was waiting for the human/pet I was playing against to click “Next” and begin Round 2. I waited….and waited….and waited…over 5 minutes for the other player to respond, or the game to end. I finally got tired of waiting, as I wanted to go do other things on this account. Of course, when I “X” of the game, is awards to other player the KinzCash and they win the game!!! This is NOT RIGHT OR FAIR! Is this how to we are to “Win” a game of Super Model? Make your opponent wait and wait and wait until they leave the game so you can win? This kind of cheating is one of the reasons I don’t like playing in the Tournament Arena! I was playing there today to finish a Challenge that I’ve had on my page for a long time, simply because I didn’t want to play IN the Arena! I would NEVER to that to another player! The Tournament Arena games should NEVER EVER be a part of a Challenge Game! Apparently it’s too easy to cheat another player, especially when all the cheating player has to do it wait till the other player, like me, gets tired of waiting and can’t continue the game. Please address this issue and fix it so another player won’t get cheated! :-(
Hey hey alucard I replied to your post in the suggestions forum. While it is frustrating in the tournament arena some things are beyond Webkinz’s control and there are multiple issues that can affect game play. I know when I have to use my older laptop the speed is quite slower and I often have long loading times in some areas. Differing internet speeds can also be a factor, I have high speed at home but at a relative’s she has a moderate speed and my friend who lives in a rural area has a horrible internet connection and only has one option for service. When I first started playing Webkinz (year 2) I had dial up internet and hardly anything would load or would crash in the middle of a game. I also generally only go to the tournament arena when there is a challenge.
Thank you, webkinzplayer1212! I only go to the Tournament Arena when there is a challenge, too. Sometimes, I just decide the stress of playing in the TA is not worth finishing the challenge for. The Super Model game in the TA is usually not too bad. Most players try to play fairly with each other, especially during a special challenge. I just got frustrated when playing the other day. I think that Webkinz should allow the various Hosts to play in the TA especially when it’s for a challenge. :-) I don’t like to be such a downer person all the time, it’s just I play Webkinz to relax and have fun. Stressing about challenges is not fun! And, I too, remember dial up! LOL! Oh, my! Talk about STRESS! LOL! :-) My user name is farout1, if you would like to be friends. :-)
LOL I have DSL now and it is a nightmare. If you are on the internet you can’t use the phone and if someone calls while on the internet it cuts off. I can’t not play anything in the TA because it always logs me out, my internet speed is not fast enough. My Webkinz Next account is having issues because of it I guess. I no longer can get the candy for the arcade so I can not complete the chanllenge I am on now. I did have four pieces saved before the update, but since then they do not show up.
