It’s PJ Collie here. One of my favorite games to play with the campers is ‘Freeze Tag’. It’s sort of like regular tag but with a twist. This game can last a while and is quite the workout for the person who’s ‘it’ but it makes an amusing change from the regular version.
In Freeze Tag, when one of the players is touched by the person who is ‘it’, they have to freeze in place. They can be unfrozen if they are touched by one of the other players who have not yet been frozen. The game is over when the person who is ‘it’ has frozen all of the other players – if they haven’t collapsed from exhaustion that is!
There are a few different variations on tag that we can try too. In Build Ups, each person tagged becomes an extra ‘it’ and is able to tag players in addition to the original person who is still ‘it.’ The game is won by the last person to be tagged. Chain tag is the same idea but the people who are tagged hold hands to form a chain and only the players at the end can touch the free players.
I like to save Tag for the end of the day, to wear out my campers for the evening! If all goes according to plan – they’ll be beat by nightfall.
yeah this game is really fun. i played it one time and thought it would be lame but then i loved it and could not stop playin it!

The first cow in America arrived in Jamestown colony in 1611. Until the 1850′s, nearly every family had its own cow. The first regular shipment of milk by railroad was between Orange County, New York, and New York City and began in 1841.
That is interesting. Thank you!
