Celebrate Mom by Making her a Tasty Breakfast!

Cowabelle Cowoline here to remind everyone that today is the day to celebrate a very special lady – mom! Moms (and grandmas and aunts and other female role models, for that matter) are definitely worthy of some special treatment! Make sure you take some time today to thank your mom for all she does for you!

And what better way to say thanks than by making your mom a delicious Mother’s Day breakfast! Every year I make my mom this tasty meal and she LOVES it!

What you need:  For the berry surprise: Sour cream, strawberries, brown sugar
For the French toast: two slices of bread, two eggs, ¼ cup milk, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 tbsp. maple syrup
For the orange juice supreme: orange juice, maraschino cherries, ice

What you do:

1.    For the berry surprise: wash the strawberries well. Put the sour cream into a small bowl, and put about ¼ cup of brown sugar in another bowl. Instruct your mom to dip the berry into the sour cream, then into the brown sugar. This is SO yummy – you won’t believe it!

2.    For the French toast: in a bowl, mix the eggs, milk, vanilla and maple syrup together. Dip the bread into the mixture and coat it thoroughly. With an adult assistant, fry the French toast until it’s golden on the outside and cooked on the inside. Serve with syrup or jam.

3.    For the orange juice supreme: pour the orange juice into a glass. Add two or three maraschino cherries and some cherry juice. Add a few cubes of ice.

4.    Serve everything to mom and wish her a very happy Mother’s Day!

I had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I made my mom a bouquet of duct tape roses! We also went to a city we never been to which was very fun. I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Mother’s Day – celebrating with moms, grandmothers, aunts, everyone. :)
