I’ve downloaded the app but I haven’t really investigated it much. Will all our old stuff transfer over to the new app?
The Desktop App is just a different way to access your account. All of your information is stored on our servers — it’s the same whether you log in from the browser or from the app. There’s no transfer involved.
Sally, please help, I got an email from Ganz that said ChromeBook users WILL NOT be able to use Webkinz any longer. I have been with Webkinz for 15 years, I have 5 accounts, All Deluxe. Am I just going to lose all of it. That just doesn’t seem fair. I am so very upset about this.
With the desktop app you can hardly do anything. You can only play a few games, you can’t go to the park, can’t do a job, can’t go to school, can’t go to the clubhouse. The app only gives you maybe half of the options as it does on the website.
If you only see half the options, then you are not on the Desktop App, you’re on the mobile app. If you’re currently on a laptop, that means you have a Chromebook. Unfortunately, the Desktop App is not compatible with Chromebook.
On the desktop app you can do all of those.
I tried but it does not work on the Chrome book. I am super bummed.

Unfortunately, this isn’t something Ganz can do anything about–it’s Google. They don’t allow the app to run on their operating system. The only workaround, really, is to get a laptop or desktop computer that runs on Windows or Mac OS.

I still would like you to add a greeting line to the kinz mail that tells people to download their app. Then I could send letters to my friends to remind them! Also, please update with holiday greetings for packages. I’m sending holiday gifts and Halloween and Thanksgiving greetings are still up! Thank you.
So this isn’t about the game but I buy things from ther estore. I got on to look at the festive weekend sale just now and noticed that some of the pictures didn’t come up and you have to allow flash player for them to show up. This happens ALL the time and I got thinking, what will happen after flash is gone? Is the estore being reworked? Will we just not be able to see some of the pictures? It seems random as far as being able to see them. Most show up fine but there are always a few that don’t

Considering it hasn’t been updated for many years to include new content, it’s unlikely to be updated
Will we be able to use our Ganz Reward points after December 31 or should we spend our points now? I found I couldn’t spend points in Google, but it does work ok in Firefox. Thanks
We still don’t have an ETA for when the Ganz Rewards program will be discontinued. It is not affected by the Flash issue, though.
