Hey there arcade enthusiasts! The Checkers Arcade Challenge starts TODAY—but don’t leave it to the last minute… You’ll only have until Sunday, December 13th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to complete it!
Here’s how to play. Starting TODAY, December 7th, look for the Checkers Arcade Challenge icon in your pet’s room. It will be displayed along the left side of the room (Webkinz Classic web and desktop app only):
Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, December 13th (EST) to earn all of the prizes:
- Win 6 games of Checkers at the Tournament Arena
- Spin the Wheel of WOW 3 times
- Buy a Tiara from the KinzStyle Outlet
Complete all of the tasks before time runs out and you’ll win Game Board Wall Clock, along with a NEW Crown Me Throne!

My Ganz World account was like that initially. I emailed Webkinz support and they fixed it in about a week. If you are bothered by the account weirdness, you can email them and they will probably be happy to help!
Depends on my day…I am usually on around midday, dinner time and early evening. Sometimes I don’t get on until 6 or so and then on until 10. Got 71 critters to maintain and I do try to do a couple fun things too.
I have to say I am discouraged by the suggestion that we play someone just so he/she will let the game run out. That’s not much of a challenge!
I know! I think that the WW residents (Arte, Alyssa Fairy, Ms. Birdie, etc) are easy enough to beat. I’ve played Arte numerous times and it seems like he wasn’t really playing to win. I suggest if you struggle with checkers to keep with the spirit of the challenge and at least try to play the WW residents. I struggle with a lot of games in these challenges (looking at you Bananza and Pumpkin Path Protector! earning about 6 KC every game with a goal of 200 KC), but I at least want to say that I won it myself.
If you are deluxe, you can play Sparky while also earning an Adventure Park prize, he’s super easy to beat. I find the hosts are beatable, even though you’ll still find that sometimes they are more on their game than others, at least my experience has been that way. 6 games is still a lot, a real challenge, just in finding time to play as well.
I am sorry if you are discouraged by my suggestion. It was only a suggestion, myself I love playing checkers and can usually beat all the host. Some players are not so good and can not win a game that is why I suggested letting the game time out.
bonesbongo, as I said below: it is a wonderful hint. I think as others seem to agree, it is more fun to spend the time assisting others to win and feel as though they accomplished something.
Bonesbongo – thanks for the great tip about 45 second timer. I personally like it when someone feels as though they accomplished something by winning the game. In that spirit, here is a what I wrote on the checkers ‘preview’ page. First thing: just because you can jump your opponent does not mean you should. Sometimes it is better to play defense and protect yourself from getting jumped. Also, try and get on the border pieces…it protects you and may give you an advantage. I am willing to help others: UN percaroam – either look for me, send me a friend request or note your UN in reply if you want me to send you a friend request. I am also good at helping on Dogbeard (Battleship). I will show you what spots I am on (pay attention to the spots I am marking) so you can find my ships. Now for the rest of the community – I need a little inspiration: Have any of you ever won the Jellybean Challenge or the QuickDraws? I guess I want confirmation that it is even possible to win either of these.
Hi @percaroma, I have won the Jellybean Challenge 3 times and the Quickdraws about 5 or 6 times, so it is possible to win. I have also managed to win the bingo twice. I know what you mean about it seeming impossible. I have been playing for about 14 years. Good luck.

You must be a very lucky person! I have been playing since the beginning and won once on jellybean and once on a bingo years ago. Glad to know they can be won again.
I won the Jellybean Challenge years ago and got an adorable jumping bean jar with a sombrero on it. The beans jump, too!
I have won the Quick draws a couple of times. I always wonder about the wish globe thing. Never won that one, been playing since 2009, but I am sure people do.
Really? I’ve won it twice recently and only got a jar of jelly beans both times, a food item. It was sort of disappointing tbh.
Now you receive the jar of jelly beans, years back it was the jumping bean jar with a sombrero on it and it was so cute I have won both.
All of you have given me hope to keep trying. At least I know it’s possible!!!
I won the Jellybean Challenge about 2 months ago. I was so shocked! I thought it was impossible to win. I’ve also won 2 QuickDraws.
Hi @percaroma! Thanks for the tips and the kind offer! I finished my checker requirement against the hosts, but I will be happy to do as you mentioned to help my other friends finish this challenge. I have won the Quick Draw a couple of times, and the Wish of the Day 2 times on one account and 1 time on another. I have never won the jellybean contest and gave up on that a while ago. Is the number of jellybeans even supposed to be accurate, like something we can estimate? Or, am I overthinking it and should it just be as simple as if it’s full, it’s 100, and if it’s half full it’s 50? I have guessed over 1200 in the past and, as there are no guidelines that I know of, I could be completely out of the ballpark. If anyone has any helpful tips, I would appreciate it. (I seldom play bingo or do Alyssa’s star challenge for the same reasons. There’s just so many times that you can miss before you get bored and find something better to do.) Don’t give up on Quick Draw or the Wish of the Day though, because they are indeed win-able by actual players.

I forgot to mention if anyone needs help playing games of checkers for the challenge I would be more that happy to help you win games. If it is my turn first I will not move my game piece, the game will be timed out in 30 seconds you will win the game. My WW username is shelkinz67 if I’m online invite me to play.

I have already completed the challenge. I LOVE the NEW Crown Me Throne. I was hoping the Royal Blue Crown would have been awarded as part of the prize instead of receiving the Game Board Wall Clock that doesn’t even work. I really enjoy playing checkers, it is one of my favorite games. SOME OF MY GAME TIPS ARE: If you have multiple accounts play against yourself, if it is your opponents turn first don’t move your game piece, the game will time out in 30 seconds, you will win the game. – Control the center, – Your goal should be to get the checker to the end of the board, – Be willing to sacrifice a checker if necessary, – Use forced moves to your advantage, – Trade pieces when you are ahead, -Leave your home row checkers until you need them, – Watch for Kings in the endgame and Remember the blocking option. Hope this helps and good luck to you all completing this challenge.
