Checkers Trophy Challenge EXTENDED!

 

Attention Checkers champs! Due to a technical issue with our community servers yesterday, you now have until Thursday, February 7th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to complete it!

 

*Please note: the text on the challenge window and icon will still have the original end date of February 3rd.

 

 

 

 

Here’s how to play. On January 28th, look for the Checkers Trophy Challenge icon on your Webkinz account. It will be displayed along the left side of the screen (web only):

 

 

 

 

Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, February 3rd (EST) to earn the Checker’s Trophy:

 

Win 8 Games of Checkers at the Tournament Arena

 

Make 15 Wishes on Wishing Well 2 in the Games Arcade

 

Play Alyssa’s Star Challenge 3 times

 

 

Play Checkers at the Tournament Arena on Webkinz.com and try to clear all of your opponent’s pieces off the board before they do!

 

You’ll find Checkers listed under Two-Player Games at the Tournament Arena.

 

 

 

 

Having trouble finding an opponent? Why not challenge a host to a game? OR, challenge someone on your Friends List!

 

Complete the Challenge by Sunday, February 3rd (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to win the trophy along with a Crown Me Pedestal!

    I have an account where I have not won a trophy, but have no trophy challenge icon at all, as though I did. But again, I have not. I need my icon back to finish the challenge, is any one else having this problem?!

      Yes, I have this problem too! On one of my accounts the challenge icon isn’t there even though I know I didn’t finish the challenge and the prizes aren’t in my dock. I emailed CS on Monday but haven’t gotten a response yet.

    Is anyone else having trouble in the clubhouse? Kinzchat plus will not show my messages or others in the trading rooms or any other rooms for that matter. I’ve cleared my history, cookies etc. but nothing is working. The tournament area is giving me trouble as well, every time i complete/enter a single player competition and go back out to enter another it freezes and wont let me do anything but go back to my house. Am i the only one with these problems??

    Hi could someone help me?! I need to feed my pet 3 Pickleberries to complete a challenge but I cannot seem to win any playing Jumbleberry Fields!! If someone could add me (username: snookerdiddle) and send me some Pickleberries, it would be greatly appreciated!

      Hi! Please don’t post the same message in multiple locations. Also, Pickleberries cannot be sent through KinzPost, so you’ll just have to keep trying with Jumbleberry Fields, I’m afraid.

      Hi sarahoneill – here’s another way to get pickleberries and moonberries – send a Friend Request to Sophie Stockwell and send her a letter every day. Sometimes she send back a berry as a gift. Keep trying, don’t give up playing Jumbleberry Fields. Good Luck :-)

    Until webkinz is able to fix their servers all clubhouse/park/tournament events should either be suspended or all prizes should be awarded to everyone. I’ve been unable to enter these areas for weeks and I know I’m not the only one. And all webkinz has to say in response is ‘clear your cookies’. At least they’re extending the trophy challenge but that doesn’t solve anything for those of us still unable to play.

      Have you tried different browsers? Are you on a wireless or a wired connection? If your connection speed is too slow, it may be interfering with your ability to connect to our community areas.

        Stop demeaning your customers by deflecting blame. Own up to your problems and fix them. I have tried EVERYTHING, it’s not me or the many computers or browsers I’ve tried. You have an issue that needs to be corrected, just fix it.

          There is no general outage and we are not able to reproduce your issue internally. Do you have more than one account? Are they all affected? Have you tried logging in from a different location?

            II’ve read other comments from people having the same issues, it may not be wide spread, but it’s not an isolated incident. I’ve tried EVERYTHING, there’s nothing you can suggest that I have not tried. You have a problem somewhere, I hope you’re able to figure it out so all players can enjoy all the features Webkinz has to offer.

            I’d be happy to provide any info that will help you solve the issue. I’ve sent multiple emails to the address you previously provided and have only received generic automated responses back.

            Could you please send a screenshot of what you see when you attempt to access the Clubhouse/Kinzville Park/Tournament Arena to ganzworldsupport@ganz.com? (This is not the regular support email for Webkinz World, but it’s one I can access.) Please include the names of any/all accounts affected.

            there absolulty is an outage.

            The servers are not down. They did go down on Sunday, but came back up on Monday morning. If there was an outage, no one would be able to access any of the community areas.

            Screenshots have already been sent to the email you provided. I’ve now received an email with an apology and been told they’re working on resolving the issue. Hopefully the few of us still having problems will be taken care of soon. Thanks for your help, Sally.

    I’m confused. My challenge icon is gone, and not because I completed it there. Has it been removed by mistake now? About to check another account. The icons were still showing before midnight.
