Plumpy agreed with Ella to provide candy for a party to cheer up the residents of Kinzville but she needed your help deciding what to do! We counted the votes and the winner was idea 2:
Plumpy should agree to make the refreshments – BUT – she should bargain with Sam for a free ad in the Webkinz Newz. Exposure is one thing, but free marketing is better!.

Chapter 5: Sweet Friendship

“Well, it’s okay that you can’t pay me,” Plumpy said. “But…maybe…Sam, could you put an ad in the Webkinz Newz? About my business, that is?” Sam frowned. Then he sighed. Then he nodded. “Sure, that’s fair,” he said. “If you help Ella with this…idea…of hers, then I’ll run an ad for your business. A small ad, that is.” “Of course,” Plumpy said. That afternoon, Plumpy and Ella began their planning. As they were working, Plumpy’s phone kept vibrating. She ignored it until the planning session was done. When she checked it, Plumpy was stunned to see over one hundred orders had come through on her website. “SAM!” Plumpy called, running into her old boss’ office. “What kind of ad did you put in the paper?! I have over 100 orders!” Sam laughed. “Well, I ran an ad in the online paper…and I asked Chef Gazpacho to mention it on his show…and I just told a few friends.” “Ella, I have to get home,” Plumpy said. “I have SO much work to do. But not to worry, I’ll be there to help you with the party on Thursday. I won’t let you down.” Ella watched her flustered friend run out the door. “She has over 100 orders to fulfill, all because of me!” Sam said proudly to his daughter. “That’s a TON of work,” Ella said. “And she shouldn’t do it alone. Come on, Dad. We’ve got candy to make.” Plumpy was truly shocked when Wiggles showed Ella, Sam, Ms. Birdy, Miss Biscuits, Cowabelle, Molly, Sparky, Alex, Salley, and Roberta into the kitchen. Plumpy was almost quite literally up to her ears in chocolate and marshmallow. She was delighted to see them. “We’re here to help you!” Ella grinned. “Just like you’ve always helped us. We want to make your dream come true, Plumpy.” Plumpy couldn’t imagine anything sweeter than that.
