Collect Apples during the Back-to-School Blitz!

We’re back in school and you know what that means: an apple for the teacher! In fact there are lots of apples for everyone in Webkinz Next! From August 14 to August 27 look for apples around Kinzville and walk over them to collect them.

When you’ve collected 20 apples or more, you can trade in 20 for a random prize. Collect up to 50 apples per day.

There are 9 prizes to collect:

- Hopscotch Rug

- Table of Elements

- Lime Green Lunchbag

- Orange Lunchbag

- Class Cork Board

- Blue Lunchbag

- Kinzville Academy Grey Skirt

- Kinzville Academy Blouse

- Wall Pencil Sharpener

And remember, there’s now trading in Webkinz Next! That means that if you miss a prize, or get multiples, or just want to collect more of a certain item, you can always ask your friends for a trade!

Why couldn’t have this been on the regular webkinz as well?

Okay, if we have to cash in apples when we reach 50 could you at least raise it to 60 so we can cash in 3 times rather than sit on extra apples? Thanks so much.

Has the apple event been extended to August 31st?

New issue for me…I have 10 apples left in my basket and I only get to collect 40 apples. Not fair since the other collections you could get 50 the next day to bring the total up to 60 and turn in all the apples.

Half the apples fall out of bounds, the disappear before you can collect them, and after all the frustration, you can’t sell half the prizes. How am I going to trade 16 green lunch boxes (or the copious amounts of the other colors) when everyone else is trying to do the same thing. Make all the low value prizes in the game sellable. I’ve seen about 80% of players are trying to trade the “WOW” shirts since you can’t sell them. No one wants them because they’re in the same boat.

I’m still trying to get rid of the excess bathing suits from the last summer ever. Even if they only become sellable after the event (or “chance to win” like the W.O.W.) has ended. That way people can sell them if they don’t want them. I don’t like having unwanted items take up space in my inventory.

I couldn’t get any to fall yesterday; tried going in and out of buildings, jumping to my room then returning, logging in/out, couldn’t find anywhere in settings that gave an option to clear the cache, and switching between windows desktop app and ios mobile app (both of which are updated) but all I succeeded in doing was wasting an hour. This is worse than the toy chase event when half the items fell behind buildings, and I can’t play in over the shoulder mode for very long.

  7. KelliAnn11 says:

Oh, good. Now I can’t get ANY apples to fall on my 3rd account. I did all the usual stuff (logging in and out, clearing my cache) to no avail. I’m starting to dread every new event. It’s very frustrating.

Every time I think I’ve figured out how the apples work, it changes!!! The first day, I got 60 and had to use 20 before it would let me get more. The next day was 50 and I didn’t have to redeem them right away. Today, it’s 40 and I did have to redeem them in order to get more. I just don’t get it. Can you people decide what the rules are going to be and leave it that way, please??!!

Please can someone fix these drop events? This is what the 8th one and still it won’t work right. Today, not a single apple dropped for me. WHY? It shouldn’t be this difficult to fix.

I haven’t seen any apples in 2 days and I’ve been on for hours each day.
