This super simple ornament comes from our archives!

What you need:

  • Small or medium-sized foam balls
  • Small straight pins
  • Sequins (small or medium sized)

What you do:

  1. Push the straight pins through the hole in the sequin.
  2. Push the pin into the foam ball.
  3. Continue adding pins and sequins all over the foam ball until it’s completely covered.
  4. Stick an ornament hanger into the foam ball if you want to hang it up.
  5. Otherwise, arrange the glittery ornaments in a bowl for all to admire!

This reminds me of the one year we got these tiny mirrors with a loop of silver string we could hang on the tree. We got these paint pens, and drew designs on them, and they ended up looking really pretty.

These make wonderful decorations that kids can make that also make wonderful memories. <3 I do recommend securing the ornament hangers with a bit of glue though. Also try adding some ribbon for another effect.

These are cute!! I’ve seen something similar to this, only you melt different colored crayons into a clear glass ornament. Also, HAPPY HANUKKAH! =D

I love this craft and have made many of these and given them as gifts. I even did the egg shaped ones and they turn out very pretty. Don’t forget to pin some ribbon on them too if you want to hang them from your tree!

You can also do different looks by adding beads between the sequin and the pin head.
