Taking care of babies is hard work! While babies can have 3 growth moments per day, sometimes it’s hard to get to them. Now you have the option to send your baby to daycare!
Click on the My Pets button in the Dock. Switch to the List View to make this really easy — click the Babies tab to show all your babies and select which one you want to send to Daycare.
More than one baby? No problem! The first baby each day is free, but additional babies can be sent for 250 KinzCash. Babies can only go to daycare once a day.
You’ll be able to see which of your babies are in daycare at a glance. Have fun!

Both the game and this article says the first baby of the day goes to daycare for free; but it’s trying to charge the 250 for just the first one. Did the daycare policy change?
No? It still sends my baby off for free each day.
The past about half of a week, it kept trying to charge for even the first baby; but today it finally sent my baby to day care for free!
Well, they’re back to trying to charge for the first one again today.
I think this new function is great. Just wondering… when will the Kinzville Academy be open?
Love this!! Something for the wishlist someday might be adding how many sparks they have. And someday maybe even who each pet shared sparks with if they did, altho that one is more complicated. I created a spreadsheet to help me remember when I was originally thinking I was going to stay on the baby making bandwagon, because the babies are just so cute. But I want to be able to make sure I am not neglectful & can manage to keep all my pet’s hearts filled. Neglect can lead to all sorts of dysfunction, addictions, etc. as adults. Lol!
I don’t know where to put this question or even how to phrase it but hopefully someone will understand & can possibly answer. Initially I didn’t realize that 2nd stage pets & older would only receive their gift boxes after meeting a certain number of pet requests. Now I have no idea which of my pets have met this requirement. Does anyone know how many requests they have to meet before receiving their box?
It’s not related to the pet’s generation. Your pet receives a gift box after the first request it receives as a grown up

What a cute idea! I’m still waiting to collect enough diamonds to adopt a second pet. Hopefully soon! I just love watching the babies play in baby playground in Kinzville.
I never sent my real babies to Daycare….I most likely will not be sending my sparked babies either!

The pop-up says grow your baby or kid pet, but the option is only available for babies! Will it ever be available for the kids/toddlers too?

I actually love this option! I’d also like this option for our pets in the “kid” stage. Perhaps we could send them to school???
This is such a cute option & way to help us grow our pets. And I agree with this comment about having this option for the “kid” stage because tbh I feel like those growth moments are less frequent probably because of other pet requests too. So I hope maybe you’ll consider that. But this is a super cute idea and I love that it is free for the first baby. Thanks so much.
Now see, that one I could go for as it would mean the Academy is finally open! Although personally I’m waiting for the Mine to open!
