NOOOOOOO! I had to go to work yesterday and I didn’t even turn on my computer all day! Golly! I missed out on this and my medallions! Not cool!
thanks Ganz for the barbershop sign. Is anyone else having problems with the medallions dropping down? haven’t gotten any since Friday afternoon and then I only got four. I’m deluxe so I should have gotten five.
I’ve had a very challenging time finding them myself. When you sit in the park for an hour, paying close attention to the screen, and find nothing, you know something isn’t working right. This event has not been fun at all so far, just stressful and frustrating. I still hope to be able to complete the collection on my main account but it looks like the others are too far behind to finish, at least at the rate I’ve been able to collect medallions. Please ganz don’t ever do a pet medallion event for the Holidays again.
I’ve been thrilled with the Snowy Retriever pet medallion event. I have several accounts and at first I knew I could not get the puppy on all accounts so I chose 5 that I really wanted this pet on. But I’m finding that I will be able to get the pet on way more than those 5. I have started doing 2 at a time. One acct on my phone and one on my computer at the same time. Nerve-wracking, but it gets done. Only one time in these 10 days have I had a problem. They just stopped floating on a Deluxe acct. Eventually I logged out and back in and was able to finish the collection for the day. Even on the accts that won’t get the pet, there will be multiples of 10 that can be traded in for Any Pet Medallion. I love this event and hope it is not the last. I’m a sucker for a free pet! lol
Free stuff is nice but hours and hours of my time is worth so much more than a $10 virtual pet.
My opening message was that I got a Mudroom Locker (or something like that) for Deluxe Day when it is clearly a Barbershop sign. Weird! I would have loved a Mudroom Locker but…anyway, I have two Barbershop signs that I would be happy to gift to someone. :)
I got the same message, TropicalGirl. I’d love to know what a Noog Mudroom Locker is, it sounds interesting. Something for a turtle?? Very kind of you to offer the barber shop signs. I don’t know what I’ll do with mine. I wish there was a storage item in Webkinz that would hold unwanted wall decorations, I have so many & even a large storage room will store relatively few and of course if your room has doors, there’s room for even less. I’m going to go look up Noog Mudroom Locker in Kinzapedia, hopefully it’s an old enough item to be listed there. Have a great weekend!
Update: there are 10 items in the Kinzapedia that are lockers, but nothing to do with a mudroom or a “Noog”.
Thanks for looking, 1Emerald1; I guess it remains a mystery. Maybe a Deluxe Day item for the future? That’s a great idea, though, to have a storage item for wall decorations because even with them all clustered under one area of the dock it’s still lengthy to find what you want. Ok, I REALLY want to know what a Noog is. All I can find is North Oxford Organic Gardener. So I am assuming it would be a spring time item. Any way, I did get my Barbershop sign and I think it’s rather cute. I would rather it was the building, though, it would go so nice with the rest of the Christmas house that go along the fence line of the out door rooms.
A barber shop building really would be a nice addition to the old outdoor Christmas village theme! I’m putting my sign into storage. I save at least one of everything I receive in Webkinz World whether I can use it or not, sometimes years later I’ll think of something to do with things. Which is extremely satisfying when it happens! The only problem with that, though, is storage issues. It just gets worse & worse as time goes on! What I get for being a Webkinz hoarder, I guess.
me too! now with the room switching I have so many rooms and would love to put the closets and pantry rooms together but then it would completely change how my house and yards are set up (seasonally). I was so happy when I finally got to put the barber chair and sign in the same room.
Ooh that would have been awesome, dixiecup! Awhile ago (maybe a year or more!) we got that cute flower shop for Deluxe Day, so a barbershop building would have been great for either a Christmas house scene or a more year round setting.
Pretty sure mine said Mudroom Nook Locker, which is not nearly as interesting-sounding as the Noog you guys didn’t get. Either way, nook or noog seem way better than Barber Shop Sign.

LOL piggitime! I’m sure you’re right. It went by me so fast I mis-read & mixed it up! Sadly, there appear to be only two “nooks” listed in the Kinzapedia, and neither has anything to do with a mudroom. Now I want to see this item more than ever!!! Going to check the estore now, tho I’m certain it won’t be there either.
Nope, no mudroom nook at the estore, guys. They do have a “melted mud bath” that’s quite adorable, I want one, my signature Asian elephant would love it!

Yesterday i finally finished my crochet Orange Goblin! Taking photos proved quite troublesome because it always made it look bright orange!! Today i managed to get some better photos so i could upload them to Share Center. I have plans to make the Green and Purple goblins too, though that might have to wait until the new year, depends how long my two Christmas related crochet projects take me. it should be quicker to make the green and purple ones (i started the orange one back in October!) since i wrote myself some instructions. onto the topic of deluxe day… I like that it isn’t the classic colour scheme for a barber shop sign! I’ll have to find a way to put it to use somewhere!

Is anyone else having an issue where their account is no longer deluxe today, but it renews at an entirely different time of year (July/August for me)? And I bought another membership code for it, but when I redeem in eStore it declines because my account is already deluxe. Log into Webkinz, and can’t do a single deluxe activity because “Your account is not deluxe”.

Yes, my deluxe account was canceled today too. Ganz was suppose to do an automatic renewal yesterday but didn’t. Last year had similar problem and it took me over a week to get it cleared up.

We had a similar problem lately, with a recent purchase of a yearly membership. I was really worried because we had so much problems, and the initial email response I got from the automated system wasn’t helpful. But I emailed the customer service address Sally told you, and it was cleared up in 4 days. Good Luck :)
What on earth is wrong with Webkinz World today? The site either crashes continually or refuses to load at all. Yes, I have jumped through all the usual hoops, cleared history, restarted the computer etc etc ad nauseum and it’s still a disaster. Come on ganz, you can do much better than this. This is supposed to be “Deluxe Day” and it is, to put it politely, no sport. This on top of all the other disappointments this month is ridiculous.
Having the same problem :( club house isn’t even open for me at the moment.
I was finally able to get in, yay, the site continues to have multiple issues, don’t know what the problem is this time. Didn’t they just do an update a few days ago?
Hi 1Emerald1 I’ve had the same problems all day. I’m sick of getting dropped from everything I’ve tried to do today. I’ve had trouble trying to log back on every time they would kick me off. My computer keeps freezing. Having trouble trying to get into rooms. I’ve had trouble playing games. This has been a bad DELUXE DAY FOR ME. I hope GANTZ can tell us why we’ve had these problems and fix it. This has been my third attempt to leave this because they kick me off before I was done. Maybe tomorrow will be better but our DELUXE DAY will be gone. Sally will tell us to clear our history,clear our cookies,restart over again,and the usual reply for these problems GANTZ appears to use over and over.
I wonder whether they’re starting to let the site degrade…
still waiting on medallions to drop for snowy dog today – anybody seen them yet?
Mine are dropping just fine, I have already had 3 drop.
I found all of mine on the mobile app – they fell about 5 or 6 minutes apart.
on saturday they started i think 930 eastern am – im getting them now
Done for the day. Desktop and mobile dropping fine. I had to do computer maintenance and updates earlier this week because everything had ground to a halt. Much better now.
I have been on Webkinz since 6:50 am pacific time and still no puppy medalions.
I would recommend playing or staying in your house, as the medals seem to keep coming for me a few minutes at a time. Try playing games or doing a puzzle in your room, that is what works for me!
I have better luck waiting for them on the Front Page. Which is more than a little annoying, yes, after all the effort so many of us had to put into pleading for floaters to float in the rooms again.

Today in my message center I got a message that I had been sent a blingin accessories box from Ganzworld and that it had been added to my account. I do not know what this is or where it came from, nor can I find it in my dock or anywhere else. Does anyone have any information on this? It was a happy, if baffling, surprise.
It is under the decorations tab or you can do the A-Z and find it there.
I got one of them, too! What a surprise it was – a happy glitch! It is the PSI for The Who La La Owl. I found it in the decorations section of my dock in the presentables category – don’t look in the furniture section. Be sure to click on it because it’s also a storage item. :-)
I got one too!! it was a glitch with the Pig floaty clicky. i’m not too sad since the ‘real’ prize was a food item.

Thank you for this free item. Please, please tell us that this is just the beginning of a new theme. I just don’t have a place to put it. A Build-a-Barbershop would be nice. We haven’t had a new building in a long time. For now, it will just have to hang on my storage room wall.
There is a barbershop theme – but it’s all Estore.
There are items in the Wshop on mobile. Under the section “Mobile”. They have both hairdresser and barber shop items. The hairdresser items were mostly pink and the barber shop items were mostly red. I haven’t looked lately , I hope they are still available there for us all to buy with Kinzcash!
I don’t do estore.
Some of the beauty salon furniture available for kinzcash in the mobile version looks like it might work for a barber shop. I think I will try that.
After my original posting, I put the sign on my beauty Salon wall. It looked so out of place, I removed it and went to bed. This morning I checked back here to read the comments to see if anyone had some good ideas. As usual, friends here are a tremendous help, but I’d still like to see a new building kit with this theme.
I do like the idea of a theme based around this! if not/in the meantime i’ll have to look for some W-shop alternatives.
well, I agree THANK YOU for this very cool item–I happen to think it is great!! I’ve had a barbershop for years and now it feels complete…just fyi, there are pets out there whose psi are barber chairs, plus I have added barbershop things from estore and a W cares cupboard, tip jar, etc, etc. there is stuff out there–good luck :) k.
