We had so many incredible submissions to our Medallion Pet Design Contest on Share Center! Thank you to everyone who entered – we have an incredibly talented community!
After going through all of the amazing submissions, we have selected the ten pets that we think could make a great Medallion Pet.
The winning pet design will be made into a virtual pet in Webkinz World, and released in April during the lead-up to Webkinz Day. The winner will also receive a Pet Design Trophy and 10 Any Pet Medallions, and all ten finalists will each receive a Merry Moonbeam Stocking Giftbox!
While the final decision on the winning pet is up to the Creative Team at Webkinz, we want to hear what you think about the finalists. Let us know in the comments below which pet you like best! After we have had a chance to consider your feedback, the winner will be announced on Friday, January 11.

I like the Shooting Star Dragon, the Highland Cattle, and the Aurora Tiger, but the pet I’m most interested in the January plush pet!!! When is it going to be released? And why is no one responding to a lot of player’s questions recently???
The highland cattle is gorgoeus , so simple yet unique, gives off the og webkinz vibe when we mostly had normal pets and not magical stuff. his fringe really gives him a unique look and he simply looks like it would work the best as a webkinz . crossing my fingers that he will win

Wow! Congratulations to all the finalists, these are some great entries!! It’s so hard to pick a favorite, but I really like the Toasted Coconut Pup and Aurora Tiger!
My choice would have to be the tapir as I submitted the same idea.
All of the designs are wonderfully creative, but my top three favourites are the mole, kiwi bird and Highland cattle. Good luck everyone!

Hi imthinking101! I liked quite a few of your designs, and I am glad that the team picked one for the finals! Your highland cattle would make a fine addition to WW! I agree with you – WW needs more bulls, and your black bull has ‘Ferdinand’ written all over it for me. I hope to one day see it in WW. I also really liked your pigeon (‘Bolt’), and either one of your rays (‘Nemo’ – “Mr. Ray”) You can probably tell that I like to create favorite movies and books in WW with scenes and characters. (I’m adopting a bat on 1/9, and naming him ‘Snape’ from Harry Potter, because that is the character’s birthday.) :D
