The magic of Medallion pets is that they offer a way for Webkinz players to adopt new pets for FREE! And this month offers players an extra special chance to get a Medallion pet – the adorable Snowy Retriever – as well as a chance to design a NEW Medallion Pet!
Players are invited to submit their designs to the Share Center between December 1 and 31 for a pet that will be released in April during the lead-up to Webkinz Day.
The winner will also receive a Pet Design Trophy and 10 Any Pet Medallions, and all ten finalists will each receive a Merry Moonbeam Stocking Giftbox!
In early January we will select ten finalists from the submissions and invite you to have a say on the final pet which will be announced at the end of January.
A few things to remember:
- You can enter as many designs as you want!
- You may use one of the templates we have provided below, or you may create your own!
- Contestants MUST upload their work to the Design a Medallion Pet Gallery on the GanzWorld Share Center.
- You can use any kind of art supplies that you want. While you may use computer programs that allow you to draw freehand, we cannot accept submissions that use clip art or images cut and pasted from other sources.
- You don’t NEED to include ideas for this pet’s adoption gifts (PSI & PSF), but feel free to draw them if you want.
- We can’t accept submissions with company logos or sports team emblems.
- Please make sure you save your images as a jpg, gif, or png.

When I try to submit I get an http error message. idk what to do
I have already adopted my snowy retriever puppy medallion and i named it snowy

Just for future reference of anyone who will decide to enter the contest, even though you may not get any sort of confirmation emails, your picture WILL show up, but maybe not right away. =) So keep your hopes up!

Can we use digital art?
Yes, digital art is allowed. As long as you’re not using someone else’s drawing (images cut and pasted form other sources), you can do your drawing digitally. =)
I’ve tried uploading my photo multiple times in this gallery (over 10 by now) and I’ve tried everything–enabled Flash, turned on pop-ups, disabled AdBlock, made my image a compatible size but I’m still not receiving any confirmation emails. =(
I don’t recieve emails either, but if you go to the share center and you go to the medallion contest and go to gallery, scroll down under the pet descriptions until you find an “All”, which you can use to categorize the view of the pet submissions by things like “Newest to oldest” or “Top Rated”, click on that “all” and click the “My images” option. That will show all of your pet submissions. Hope this helps! :D

You can use any template or make your own. It says up there. =D

I’m so happy we finally have another pet design contest!!! This is going to be so exciting and so fun! Good luck to everyone! I know everybody’s ideas will be amazing! Too bad we all can’t win; I’ve seen so many awesome submissions already! You guys really are talented. :D Can’t wait to see who ends up in the finalists!
