Design Tips: Creating a Bloomin’ Room

The Bloomin’ room theme is back in the WShop for a limited time so we asked Hailey and Elwin to offer some tips on how to design a room using these items.

The Bloomin’ Kitchen:

Hailey:  “The various plants that have been added to this kitchen are so colorful and work perfectly with the Bloomin’ room theme. I love the kitchen island that was created in the center of the room and the Bloomin’ Garden Dividers corners off the kitchen table perfectly!”

Elwin:  “I love the small touches that really makes this come alive as a kitchen: the hanging Fine Cuisine Pots, Coat Rack, Kitchen Bulletin Board and Cutlery Holder… and these awesome kitchen accessories can be won by spinning the Wheel of Wow 15 times, playing the Wacky Log Out Carnival or by doing a full week of Daily KinzCare!”

The Bloomin’ Side Table is the only item that won’t be returning to this theme since it was last available in the WShop, but 3 new items have been added:

Dear Ganz, can we please have a way to make our rooms already purchased bigger? I really need it! Thanks! P.S. I love all of their arrangements! Awesome thinking!

This is a cute idea! I would have made a few changes, but for the most part it’s VERY good. The flooring is not exactly what I would have chosen, however, that said, its not awful either. Overall; do I think I could have done a better job? Yes, most likely, but it is still a nice room that many webkinz fans will try to duplicate! The lime green chairs, cooking made simple sign, wacky zingoz clock, dining table and some of the plants are a bit out of place, but moral of this story is it does not have to be perfect to be a good room! Everybody will critique it in their own way. Speaking of, I have a bloom’in kitchen I would love to post sometime. I wish their was a place I could post all my rooms……… any suggestions?

It makes me happy when themes are brought back throughout the year to match the seasons. The Bloomin’ theme is one of my favorites. Mostly because of the fridge that is included. This fridge is able to be placed outdoors, so if you have a garden, you are able to place this fridge to match. I collect all types of Webkinz foods, so this works perfect when I have garden or flower foods that look great in an outdoor room. I wish more items could go outdoors or underwater, and some outdoor items to go indoors too!

I totally agree, and I actually do this is a ton of my rooms……… In fact I think you may have a few like this in your webbies “NYC” apartment!

I used the room dividers- the one that look like fences with flowers growing on them- to make walls separating my kitchen, bedroom, living room, and a small space I wasn’t sure what to do with. It’s sort of a parlor.
