So bummed! I had NO idea that it was only a limited time to collect the Rainbow Pool :(

I didn’t receive it either; nor did I ever receive the Tuxedo jacket.

I completed this challenge and spun the wheel every day but the button is not appearing to collect the prize.

This prize was available for collection yesterday. The link was removed this morning.

That’s a short amount of time for prize collection as everyone can’t be on all the time. Maybe you can consider a collection time of a couple of days in the future. Sometimes real life gets in the way of logging into a virtual world every day.

I can pass the suggestion on, but the current system doesn’t really work with a multi-day prize. The alternative would be to award the prize 3-5 weeks later.

GAH, comment eaten by “posting too fast’ warning. (Except it was ONE comment and the only I have made today, grrr) Anyway, I shall try to recreate. During, I think, the first Days of Play event, several prize links worked for multiple days. If that’s what’s no longer the ‘current’ system, maybe you (you-general ganz you, not you-specific you) should go back to it. Crafingallday is right, it can be really hard to check in every day. Especially since, yes, Webkinz itself is still a circus of madness and frustration at times. That’s not even getting to the many kids who have to deal with parents limiting internet/computer time and access, and saying ‘no’ to one more quick check to see if a link is up/still up, or even working yet. *saves comment…crosses fingers…posts*

          • Sally Webkinz says:

While it’s true that the prize links can be left up for several days, it will not restrict it to one per person. Restricting it to one day is the only way to enforce that. Again, the only alternative would be to award it automatically a few weeks later, as these eStore items aren’t meant to be collected several times on a single account — it’s either that or reduce the value of the prizes significantly. The announcement for the challenge includes a notification that the prize will only be available for one day. I can certainly pass your concerns on, though.
