From November 22 – 30, look for the floating bottle of dye on your Webkinz Classic account and click on it to collect DIY Dye!
Combine bottles of dye, Design Tickets and DIY furniture on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet, to make new furniture for your pets!
You can buy DIY furniture, DIY Design tickets and the DIY Design Guide in the DIY section of the WShop, but you’ll only be able to collect DIY dye through a floaty clicky during this event.
If you see a floating bottle of dye appear on your screen, click on it, and a bottle of DIY dye will be added to your Dock (limited to 3 a day for free players, 4 for full and 5 for Deluxe members).
There are 4 DIY dye colors to collect: purple, blue, green, and the brand-new DIY Pink Dye!
If you combine a DIY Design Ticket with a piece of DIY furniture and DIY dye on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet, you can make a new piece of furniture for your pet, featuring the color of dye that you decided to use:
Use the DIY Design Guide to learn more about this event. It will be added to your Dock the first time you log in to your Webkinz Classic account from November 22 – 30.
A premium DIY Retro Dye is also available. You can find it in the FUN STUFF > DIY section of the WShop, but you’ll only be able to purchase it with eStore points.
Don’t miss a day of the DIY Design event, so you can collect as many bottles of DIY Dye as you can!
The DIY section will remain in the WShop once this event ends, so you don’t need to use up your bottles of dye before the end of the month!
There is a glitch with the purple DIY rugs. When you put them in the room they disappear. They are invisible but on exit you can not put anything else on the floor where the invisible rug now is. There is no way to remove it but it does not display. Anyone else notice this?
I was trying to move my purple rug and it became invisable too. I was able to find it because I can not place another rug in that area. I was saving it in my storage room to use in a future room and it became invisable.
Hey Ganz, How about a pink DIY dye floater on Webkinz Newz for the rest of the event. We could all use more pink dye. Please!!!
