Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with a special Webkinz Votes 2018 report!
3 mayoral candidates have already revealed their campaign promises and the 4th and final candidate, current mayor Dr. Quack, will be revealing his on Saturday. To recap, Dex Dangerous is promising to boost the daily SPREE rolls from 1 to 3, PJ Collie plans on replacing the KinzCash slots on the Wheel of WOW with clothing and Sophie Stockwell is proposing a player appreciation day, once a month, which would award players with a gift from the eStore. There is much speculation as to what Dr. Quack’s promise will be, but we will all have to wait until November 24th to read his campaign speech.
The actual election will run from Thursday, November 29th, to Sunday December 2nd (ending at midnight EST). Players can vote once throughout this 4 day period and the results will be announced on Monday, December 3rd, right here on Webkinz Newz.
I spoke with Kinzville’s very first mayor, Cowabelle Cowoline, about this year’s election, and she revealed she has not yet decided who to vote for:
ELLA McWOOF: Cowabelle, who can you see winning this year’s election?
COWABELLE: Ella! It’s so nice to see you! This year’s election has been really exciting. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I was running in the first one. Honestly, each candidate has a really interesting campaign promise and I haven’t even decided who to vote for yet!
ELLA McWOOF: How do you think Dr. Quack has done in his role as mayor?
COWABELLE: Dr. Quack is kind, caring, compassionate… and fun! He’s been a great leader and I would be happy if he was re-elected as mayor.
ELLA McWOOF: How have you been keeping yourself busy these days?
COWABELLE: I am really concentrating on my schooling right now. It’s been a busy year so far, but I love it! Oh, and when I’m not at school, you can find me at the Adventure Park. I love hanging out with the Kinz… it’s always an adventure!
ELLA McWOOF: Thank you for taking the time to talk with me Cowabelle.

I hope Dr. Quack will promise to make his tonic smoothies work. My pets still won’t accept them. After all this time I have so many!!
They might make Dr. Quack’s offer the best one, but so far Sophie seems like she will win. Free eStore items would be wonderful and it would be cool to have a player appreciation day.
What does everyone think Dr. Quack’s offer will be?
Last time it had to do with pet care and the health of pets when he introduced Dr. Quack’s Miracle Tonic. So it probably will have to do with pet care again or maybe pet medallions. I wouldn’t mind if it had to do with pet care, maybe making it easier to fill their hearts or adding more prizes to the prize pool. However, I’d be much more excited if it did have to do with medallions.
I just hope he makes it faster to fill family score hearts. I will never, ever get anywhere near the top prizes at the end at this rate. Some of us don’t have unlimited time to do pet care & fill up hearts every day. At first I thought that just playing the game & fulfilling pet requests when asked would get me there but it’s been an agonizingly slow process. If Dr Q doesn’t promise that, then I hope he’ll offer us a search option, like Katz1259 & many others have said. It would really help get Webkinz out of the slow lane!
I wish someone would give us a search option. I have sooo many things in my dock even though I have about 25 storage rooms! Finding an item that I want to put in a room or trade takes forever to scroll through to! If we had a search option it would make life soooo much easier for everyone!
I’m hoping Dr. Quack has something good. I would love to keep him as mayor. Sophie’s sounds good but we already do have a customer appreciation day at the e-store.
Yes, but It’s for eStore customers only. This is aimed at all players. Considering that this is a game aimed at a much younger set, it often seems to favor those with a disposable income. Sophie’s proposal considers all accounts, not just those who spend outrageous amounts at the eStore.
Maybe Dr. Quack will be like Sheldon Turtle and propose that Webkinz World stays the same. So far each candidate’s promises have been different. One of them wants to give us something new, one wants to give back what a previous mayor took away, and one gives us a benefit with a drawback.
Interesting way to sum it up…
If Dr. Quack’s promise has to do with pet medallions, he will probably win the election. Still I’m hoping Sophie Stockwell wins so we can have player appreciation day and get a free eStore item each month. It will be a close election between her and Dr. Quack if his promise is about medallions, though.
So far, Sophie sounds great. I don’t want more Spree rolls and I honestly feel like I’m the only one that likes the Kinzcash on the wheel, I definitely don’t want clothes so Sophie is the way to go for me. That’s actually really thoughtful, to have a player appreciation day. Now, all I have to do is wait for Dr. Quack’s speech for my decision

Seeing Razell the Dragon in the picture made me start thinking, wouldn’t it be fun to have a dragon as mayor? Maybe he & Debbie Dragon will run next time! I’m still waiting to hear what Dr Quack has to propose this election. I’m not very enthused about any of the candidate’s promises so far, so this is it, Dr Quack, get ready to dazzle us!
I would absolutely love to see Debbie Dragon in this event! She has become a lost character; we haven’t seen anything involving her since the travel agency closed. She also was one of the coolest Webkinz characters, IMO, so it would be great to use her for something again. And another character I think should run someday is Wacky Zingoz. He is a true symbol of Webkinz World, after all…Come on, who doesn’t love Zingoz? :)
I miss Debbie Dragon, too! PLumpy Hippo has also become another lost character. She shows up as a judge in the tournament arena but that’s about all I see of her. She, as a long time Kinzville citizen, would have been a good mayoral candidate.
IKR? Too many cool & fun characters have been abandoned, I’d rather have one of them than Dex or even Sophie, who’s just another ad campaign, let’s get real.
One thing that would help the girls in getting my vote would be, is Sophie’s player appreciation day e-store item kinzpostable & what kind of clothing will PJ have? Will PJ have current deluxe clothing from her shop, really old clothing from long ago, or new clothing exclusive to the wheels? Pittiesrule
Yes! Inquiring minds want to know! We should be able to have a question and answer panel with the candidates, moderated by Ella before election weekend.
Yeah, it was nice how they did interviews with each candidate in past elections to clarify some details about their promises. So far, though, it looks like we’re not getting that this year.
