Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with a special Webkinz Votes 2018 report!
3 mayoral candidates have already revealed their campaign promises and the 4th and final candidate, current mayor Dr. Quack, will be revealing his on Saturday. To recap, Dex Dangerous is promising to boost the daily SPREE rolls from 1 to 3, PJ Collie plans on replacing the KinzCash slots on the Wheel of WOW with clothing and Sophie Stockwell is proposing a player appreciation day, once a month, which would award players with a gift from the eStore. There is much speculation as to what Dr. Quack’s promise will be, but we will all have to wait until November 24th to read his campaign speech.
The actual election will run from Thursday, November 29th, to Sunday December 2nd (ending at midnight EST). Players can vote once throughout this 4 day period and the results will be announced on Monday, December 3rd, right here on Webkinz Newz.
I spoke with Kinzville’s very first mayor, Cowabelle Cowoline, about this year’s election, and she revealed she has not yet decided who to vote for:
ELLA McWOOF: Cowabelle, who can you see winning this year’s election?
COWABELLE: Ella! It’s so nice to see you! This year’s election has been really exciting. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I was running in the first one. Honestly, each candidate has a really interesting campaign promise and I haven’t even decided who to vote for yet!
ELLA McWOOF: How do you think Dr. Quack has done in his role as mayor?
COWABELLE: Dr. Quack is kind, caring, compassionate… and fun! He’s been a great leader and I would be happy if he was re-elected as mayor.
ELLA McWOOF: How have you been keeping yourself busy these days?
COWABELLE: I am really concentrating on my schooling right now. It’s been a busy year so far, but I love it! Oh, and when I’m not at school, you can find me at the Adventure Park. I love hanging out with the Kinz… it’s always an adventure!
ELLA McWOOF: Thank you for taking the time to talk with me Cowabelle.

I wish there was going to be a last-minute surprise of another candidate joining the mayoral race. I’m sorry, but based on the campaign promises, I don’t care to vote for any one of these guys over another. This is the first Webkinz election that I haven’t had a favorite. I guess I’ll vote for PJ, anything to get the 20 kinzcash slot off the wheel of wow, as I’m so weary of landing on it almost Every. Single. Time. ;)
I understand that! I’m also thinking about how nice it would be to have EVERYONE get an e-store item once a month. I dearly love and respect Dr. Quack however as a supporter of term limits I won’t be voting for him this go around. I love adventure movies so Dex is close to my heart but I just don’t think that he understands what is required of him for this position. He still seems to be thinking of this election as an audition for a movie/TV role.

I just read Dr Quack’s campaign speech & definitely will not be voting for him, sigh. Sophie or PJ, hmmm.

Dr. Quack retired a full two years before he became mayor. The clinic was closed because all sickness in Webkinz World was cured.
oh that is such a bizarre explanation–really? why is there still the job where pets are sick or injured? weird spin & just a little too defensive of mr. quack I say…but whatever
Honestly, I like PJ collie, but Sophie actually wants to share more Estore things, which actually is great for players who cant afford or are too young to buy estore points or memberships for real money. Sophie has my vote. Dex doesn’t really do anything for us.
However, I still haven’t seen Doctor Quack’s promise yet and I look forward to finding out what he is all about this year.
