Did you know that once you’ve earned your Crown of Wonder on Arte’s Gem Hunt, there’s more you can do with your gems?
Visit Doug’s Collector’s Room in the Clubhouse to find Doug the Dog. When you see him, click on him.
He’s looking for gems, and if you have what he’s looking for, he’ll trade them for special prizes!
If you don’t have what he’s looking for, you’ll get KinzCash instead. Each prize you get is better than the next one, but make sure you’ve collected lots of gems before going to see him so, you’ll always have what he’s looking for.
Once you’ve received all the prizes from Doug, you can use a different pet to visit the Clubhouse and start trading gems for prizes all over again!

I never realized I had gotten so many prizes from Doug the Dog; the only one left for me to collect is the carved gem fountain! :O
Why not have Doug in his room all the time, available to trade with anyone once a day if they have the gems he wants? I find him maybe once every few months. That’s not very fun. It’s more the opposite.
I agree! He’s so hard to find that I’ve all but given up on trying to collect all of the prizes
i can NEVER find Doug! I love all these prizes but I will most likely never find him, the only time i did ever find him was at 10 PM in the USA

I only have a few things as Doug is never in the Clubhouse when I am playing. He must be very shy.

Yes, once I found this information out it was a simple matter of whenever I discovered that Doug was in the Clubhouse, I just backed out of the room, switched to the pet that I had chosen and was able to progress from there. I also make sure that I go mine first to make sure that I have the best chance of having the right gem combination.

I have as well! My Andromeda has her room all decked out in the gem items! Except for the volcano. I put that in Fire Fancy’s room.
I’m signed on early in the morning and never seem to find him. Would love to collect some of these prizes. I hope you consider having him show up a couple of times a day (or even having him there all the time)
I often go to the Clubhouse looking for Doug the Dog. But, I am not in the USA (my account is the other possible time zone). He is never there during my daytime / normal awake hours. :(
