Ella Interviews Mayor Cowabelle!

Hello readers, Ella McWoof here! I recently had the chance to sit down and interview the Mayor of Kinzville, Cowabelle Cowoline, to get the scoop on her current plans and even some insight into her future!

Ella: First of all, I’d like to say thank you Mayor Cowabelle for taking the time out of your busy schedule to talk with me. It must be hectic being the mayor while still attending school.

Mayor: My pleasure Ella—but please—just call me Cowabelle. Yes, this past year has been VERY busy. But at the same time it has been very rewarding. Kinzville isn’t just my home—it’s also my passion. I love being able to help make the lives of our citizens better every day!

Ella: You managed to fulfill your campaign promise to get items into all room types, which was obviously VERY popular.

Mayor: It was just the right thing to do. I’m glad everyone is now enjoying so much more freedom when decorating their rooms, whether they’re indoors, outside, underwater, or in a treetop!

Ella: Unfortunately this came at the cost of a daily SPREE roll at the mall.

Mayor: It was a sacrifice that was worth making. Besides, we’ve been able to offer several bonus SPREE rolls to help address this.

Ella: What else do you have planned for Kinzville in 2016?

Mayor: I’m all about keeping Kinzville fresh and vibrant for citizens now and into the future. On that end, everyone should watch for some exciting new renovations coming soon to some of our most popular landmarks! It’s really going to help make Kinzville much more modern!

Ella: Speaking of fixes, what’s the update on the broken and invisible items in rooms?

Mayor: Once Nuts and Bolts saw that there were more items to fix than they could handle, they went out and hired some temporary extra help. I’m happy to report that hundreds of items have already been fixed, with only a few left to go! We expect the last few to be fixed over the next month or two.

Ella: And what about YOUR plans for the end of 2016? Will you call another election? If you do, will you be running?

Mayor: Well, ah… Let’s just say that when the time is right, I’ll be happy to hand over the Keys to Kinzville to the next worthy candidate. I’d really like to be able to focus solely on my school work again sooner rather than later, so hopefully the projects I’ve started will soon be well enough in hand to give me the chance to step away.

Ella: Do you have any future plans that you can share with us a little more… definitively?

Mayor: YES! I am once in the Kinzville Park handing out gifts to anyone who comes by to see me until this Friday, April 22nd! I just love meeting all of the different citizens of Kinzville!

Ella: Thank you Mayor—I mean—Cowabelle. Thank you for this interview and thank you for everything you’ve done for the citizens of Kinzville.

Mayor: Ella, you and everyone in Kinzville are VERY welcome.

So there you have it readers—straight from the mayor’s mouth to your living rooms. What do YOU think about what she had to say? Leave us a comment below and let us know!

MIDNIGHT MONSTER – I wish the BED would add Heart Care points when my pet goes to bed !!! INSTEAD she has to sleep in a sleeping bag it’s sad and clutters the room .

  2. redhatvq says:

From my experience there are still more than just a few items that need fixing.

  3. monkeyfun15 says:

I wonder what some of the changes will be to the landmarks in Kinzville? Well…… I don’t know, but it sound exciting!!!

  4. huggablehoneys4ever says:

STOOGLES 2016! I hope there’s another election this summer, it would tie in perfectly with the US Presidential election. I’m really excited about “modernizing” kinzville.

    • Beckinz8 says:

I would vote for Amanda Panda if she ran for mayor, in a heartbeat! I like how she’s never too wordy, always brief and to the point. And she’s always so kind and helpful! Imagine if politicians were like that in real life – what a wonderful world this would be!

Thanks for the new interview. I think there should be a new election because I believe Kinzville is a democracy. I am a little concerned about her comment stating that there are “only a few left to go” on things that need to be fixed. I have many things that still don’t work or don’t even show up as gray squares. Many things are broken like the Webkinz Day countdown display which is in several pieces, some on the floor! My Inground Lap pool stopped working after the last update. How did that happen? Perhaps going through all items in alphabetic order would help you to know what has and has not been fixed. Even items recently purchased at the eStore don’t show up or work! I have been a member & fan since Dec. 2006 and have enjoyed most of the changes over time. I just wish Nuts & Bolts could speed up the repairs!

    • Chocolate55 says:

Same! My inground lap pool stopped working too! also one of the community challenges, (the rainbow pool thing) doesn’t work either, but it might not be supposed to, so im not that disappointed. Its still pretty! :)

Good interview, nice update…As my FAVORITE change to Kinzville is the the fact I now have an AWESOME MODERN HOUSE–LOVE IT–to call “home” for my pets, I am not fearful of other modernization…IT IS TIME PEOPLE–2016 & all… ;) Next, I don’t quite understand WHY taking away SPREE rolls had anything to do with the ability to put things in rooms, but I am not a techie, so perhaps this is legit??? Anyway, let’s just be GLAD Webkinz has survived the changing tides of time and is still a vibrant escape from the real world… Happy 11 Webkinz! (see confetti falling, balloon rising…)

    • _emiemiemiemiemi_ says:

Taking away spree rolls was the thing that came with Cowabelle. All of the candidates had one “good” thing and one “bad” thing that came with them if they were elected. Cowabelle said that if she was elected that she would allow more outdoor items inside and more indoor items outside. That certainly did happen, and it helped a lot of people that enjoy decorating rooms. I know it definitely helped me.

      • ArtMagician says:

I am always excited for new and modern, so personally, I am excited that Cowabelle mentioned some modern renovations! Also, I think that limiting one SPREE roll per day is an acceptable cost for being able to do SO much more when decorating rooms. Liked this interview!

  7. cvasko says:

Thank you Cowabelle…please fix the rooms so I can reput in my outdoor movie screen for my drive inn movies. It took it out last year and I never can put it back in. I want to enter it into the build rooms but can’t cause the screen is missing. Please help me and fix it. thank you in advance.

    • Beckinz8 says:

I know what you mean, as this was so scary for me too! I finally saved up enough KC and Arte finally had it for sale in the curio shop. I bought it, and I was so excited that I put it in my movie theater right away and … it … disappeared!?! *deep breaths, deep breaths* This too shall pass. I’m sure that eventually it will all get fixed. We just need to continue to be patient, and focus on the positive while we wait. :)

  8. FennecFox says:

I will be pretty sad if Mayor Cowabelle is replaced by another! :P Yet, thank you, Mayor Cowabelle, for all you have done for us Webkinz-ers. :)

    • FennecFox says:

haha i’m not in my living room. XD

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

Yeah… I think I’d be said if that happened as well… Plus I’m quite wary of the thought of another mayor election o_o Heheh….

        • _emiemiemiemiemi_ says:

Me too. I don’t really like politics in Webkinz world.. It can set friends apart, even if it is only an election. It would be nice to have another new ‘something’ (meaning the promised things from the candidates) but I mostly wish Cowabelle would just stay.

          • ArtMagician says:

If we have another election, I personally promise not to fuss or argue with my Webkinz Newz friends. I would also hope Cowabelle’s decorating updates would stay if another mayor was elected…

      • ilovemoonie says:

        Hehe, me neither! ;)

    • kittymade10 says:

I did not vote for her, but she is cool fun kid like us! That we can relate! I would not like if someone will replace. I love seeing her, and maybe will pick up something.

  9. TaffyKitty12 says:

Cool! It’s great to see another Ella McWoof interview! :D Let’s see… I kinda got mixed feelings about what Cowabelle said… I liked pretty much everything she had to say… Except for the “renovation” thing. I don’t really want to see the Curio Shop or the Enployment office “renovated”…. I like the way the look as of now. I don’t really want them to be changed… And hopefully the character design won’t be changed as well! Ay… I’m sorry for all this rambling.. I dunno. I guess since I’ve been a long time player, starting shortly after Webkinz 2nd anniversary… I’m just really… Nostalgic about this kind of stuff… Well, anyways, great interview, Ella McWoof (and Cowabelle)! Although… This is random.. But I’m kind of wary of the prospect of another mayor election… The last one brought the worst in people… And I must admit… It even happened to me as well…

    • TaffyKitty12 says:

*i meant to say “brought out” in my comment above! I accidentally let out the word “out”, hehe… Sorry!

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

*And I meant to say “they”, not “the”

        • Pokekinz says:

I agree, I don’t want Kinzville to be modern. :( Also, now that I think about it, I can’t really remember much about the elections… I think I was mostly silent, but I’m not sure. :P

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Me too, Poke! I don’t want Webkinz to become more modern, either.. But that’s just me… And hehe, it’s probably best that you were silent… I kinda wish I was back then, but at the same time, that’s when I really started to get into commenting. Prior to that I commented very rarely… Nowadays, I comment so much, some might find it ridiculous, heheh…

      • ArtMagician says:

I think the sound of renovation sounds cool, but that’s just me. The thing is, I am kind of having mixed feelings about it, too. Webkinz is a nostalgic thing, and changing it’s look is a bit intimidating, but ultimately, I excited for Kinzville to get a bit of a makeover, simply because there’s nothing to be nostalgic about if it never goes away and you never get to miss it. But I totally understand, Taffy. But it won’t be all bad, I’m sure. :)

    • FennecFox says:

Yeah, Taffy. I sure hope that the curio shop doesn’t get renovated. And i hope that Arte doesn’t change his look! He is my favorite host ever. ;P

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

Me too, Fennec! I hope Arte (and his shop) stay the way it is! Arte isn’t my all time favorite (That is Tabby Von Meow… —> Big Tabby fan over here <—) but he's one of my favorites! Along with Dogbeard, Goober, PJ and the like ;)

    • ilovemoonie says:

Yeah, I’m the same way, TaffyKitty. I don’t want places to be “renovated” either. :/ I’m a long time player too, so I don’t like it that much when they change things. Like the Wshop. I liked the old Wshop better than the new one. Of course, they changed that years ago, so I’ve gotten used to it. Anyway, hopefully they won’t change too much.

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

Me too, ilovemoonie! Hehe.. Looks like we both understand how it feels… And yeah, I kinda miss the old w shop as well, the only part I don’t miss about it is the cart thing since I could only buy 9 items at a time, and that seriously slowed things down, heheh… But all in all.. I still kinda miss the ol’ shop…

      • SignatureIsland says:

Making Kinzville more modern… I don’t know… I mean, I love CERTAIN changes, but… a renovation on the entire town of Kinzville? Sound likes a few months of Webkinz not working… I’d like to see who would run for mayor… (I almost typed president :)

    • _emiemiemiemiemi_ says:

      Me too, TaffyKitry.. =/

      • ArtMagician says:

I don’t know if the WHOLE thing will be renovated…that I certainly hope doesn’t happen. But some accents, new features…to me that’s exciting. To me, evolution of this beloved website should happen, or else classic is in danger of becoming old. That’s just me.

  10. FennecFox says:

nice interview! Thanks, Mayor Cowabelle, for all you have done! :D I will be so sad if another mayor tries to steal your place, like DAISY DOE. >;( You have been an awesome mayor!

    • TaffyKitty12 says:

Yes! Someone who agrees with me! Okay… Sorry for the outburst.. Heheh… I really like Mayor Cowabelle! Unlike a certain someone… (Yes. I’m still not over that. I could’ve liked her. Believe me, I tried… But… I can’t. Not anymore.) If there’s another mayor race, I hope she’s not in it…. I hope someone else is. Someone I actually like. Like PJ. Or Amanda Panda. Or Dogbeard…… But anyways, yep, I must admit, she has been a pretty good mayor! ^•^

      • SignatureIsland says:

I would HATE if Daisy Doe got to office… She would take ALL OUR CANDY AND SWEETS FROM THE W-SHOP!!!! Remember she said that last election?

      • _emiemiemiemiemi_ says:

Ahh, yeah! Amanda Panda or maybe even Arte Fact! They are my two favorite hosts. =] I do like and will miss Cowabelle though. It will be sad to see her leave and… another election starting…

    • monkeyfun15 says:

So… why does everyone “Not” like Daisy Doe? I don’t get it, I think she is nice. :)

      • FennecFox says:

Yeah Taffy. And ummm… monkeyfun… it’s just because… i feel a certain way. I mean, so Daisy Doe comes in, and who does she seem to throw out? Chef Gazpacho. I hardly see him anymore. :P Gazpacho should own the diner. She could be a waitress. (just my opinion, of course) I mean, i just dont like how Daisy came in and seemed to say ‘LOOK ITS MEH.’ and then she made a diner and was on posters and she even ran for mayor when she was new to webkinz too! just my opinion of course, i’m sorry if i sound rude. I don’t want to be. It’s just that…. i want Chef Gazpacho to be the ‘real deal of a cook’. I mean, he’s been a webkinz host FOREVER it seems like! I just find it… kinda unfair.

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

I don’t like Daisy Doe because of her mayor election promises. She promised to get rid of all junk food (which I am not a fan of. That would’ve meant that my pets would not be able to have their favorite foods (not PSF’s, but the ones listed in the bios) if it was junk food, and, if the junk food was taken away, we wouldn’t be able to make most recipes in Webkinz world, since most of them require at least one “junk food” item. ) I was not a big fan of Daisy Doe from the start, since I felt like she was made to replace Chef Gazpacho, but I decided I’d maybe give her a chance, but after that, to be honest, I can’t give her another chance. I understand it’s good to eat healthy, and I must admit that I need that reminder now and then, but to go as far as to push a no junk food vegetarian agenda on everyone else doesn’t seem right to me. But that’s just my opinion. Everyone thinks differently about Daisy Doe :) Anyways, I hope this explained why I think like I do about her! (By the way, totally off topic, but I love your 3-D art, monkeyfun15! Your hippo one was too cute! ^•^) Oh, and I hope I didn’t sound rude at all in this comment! :o It’s just you know.. Well, um.. I’m not a big fan of Daisy Doe..

      • kittymade10 says:

She wanted to take ALL are unhealthy food away if she became Mayor! I love her food… well some of it… she’s so…. mean. (in a way) You know all that fake-nice stuff!

      • Pokekinz says:

Well, I don’t really like her design, and she was basically forcing “healthy” foods upon us (I’m sorry, but I really don’t think a soy smoothie would be good, for me or my taste buds). I mean, they didn’t need to make her like that, she could’ve just added healthier options instead of trying to replace all the stuff in the Wshop with “healthy alternatives”. I mean, treats should still be an option, I hate it when people try to control what I eat. It’s my health, for Pete’s sake. Or, in this case, my pet’s health. Er, yeah. Well, I mean… I think they should’ve made her less pushy.

      • Dolphinlover55 says:

        I like Daisy Doe:)

      • ilovemoonie says:

        Yeah….I don’t know…I like her too….

      • Beckinz8 says:

Possibly because she came in out of nowhere, an outsider, and immediately started targeting Mr. Moo and his ice cream cart, and seemed determined to rid Webkinz World of junk food. (Kind of reminds me of someone in the real world.) ;) Anyway, she kind of came around in the end, accepting Mr. Moo’s ice cream because it was made with all natural ingredients, and Daisy even partnered with him on some new healthier flavors. But I think coming in like a charging rhino might have damaged her reputation too much to be able to be forgiven by some players. :(

      • Chocolate55 says:

IKR! everyone seems to not like her! she’s awesome! Giving away free food to all the webkinz-ers!

      • _emiemiemiemiemi_ says:

Well, I can name two things. She was all healthy and a vegetarian, which lead to her wanting to get rid of unhealthy food in the Wshop and even getting rid of Mr. Moo’s icecream cart. She also seemed kind of snobby, I think, in the election.

      • ArtMagician says:

I feel that Daisy Doe is nice, and it’s cool to have her. But she seems power hungry and a bit controlling. Mostly these ideas of her are just because of the last election.
