I’m back with another blog post, and this time I’m talking to folks around Kinzville about our very own Mayor Dr. Quack!   Mayor Dr. Quack is in the Kinzville Park right now, so scoot over there and say hello if you haven’t already — he’ll give you a gift box, which has some pretty neat prizes inside!

I covered both elections, as you may remember, but I wanted to get a feel for how the residents of Kinzville feel about Dr. Quack… so I took a stroll around Kinzville and stopped a few citizens! First, I ran into Salley Cat, who ran against Mayor Dr. Quack back in 2016.

Ella: Hi, Salley Cat!

Salley Cat: Hi, Ella! Isn’t it a lovely day?

Ella: It sure is. Have you been by to see the Mayor yet?

Salley Cat: No, not yet.

Ella: Aw, you aren’t still sore about him winning are you?

Salley Cat: Not at all. I’ve been having a great time — I’ve been focusing more on my studies and hanging out with the ‘Kinz. In fact, that’s why I haven’t gotten around to seeing Mayor Dr. Quack yet — I just got out of a club meeting!

Ella: Well, you’ve got a few days left, but I wouldn’t leave it too long — Mayor Dr. Quack has some neat prizes, and he’s giving everyone one gift a day.

Salley Cat: Thanks, Ella, I’ll be sure to head right over.

Ella: Great! Maybe when you’ve seen him, you can let me know which of his gifts is your favorite?

Salley Cat: Will do!

Then, I wandered around town some more until I bumped into Tabby Von Meow.

Ella: Tabby! It’s so great to see you. How are you?

Tabby: Well, I’m just great, Ella, and how are you?

Ella: I am awesome, Tabby! I’ve got a blog now and I just wanted to ask you how you felt about Mayor Dr. Quack.

Tabby: Oh, goodness. It’s been just wonderful having Dr. Quack back. I remember when he cured all sickness in Kinzville… everyone was so happy that they’d never have to worry about getting ill, but then… then we were sad, because what would Dr. Quack do? We wished him a fond farewell when he went on his retirement cruise, but it was very sad to see him go… but now he’s back!

Ella: That’s right, I remember going to the Clinic when I was younger. Dr. Quack was always so nice. Have you gone to see him in the Kinzville Park yet?

Tabby: Yes, I did, right after I finished my shift this morning. I got a lovely present from him — a Cup of Lollipops! I just may have to put that next to my coffee mug on my desk.

Ella: That’s great! Well, it was nice bumping into you, Tabby. I hope you have a great day!

Tabby: You, too, dear. Toodeloo!

After that, I was getting a little tired. It was almost lunch time! But I decided that I’d talk to at least one more person and found Sophie Stockwell!

Ella: Hi, Sophie, how’s it going?

Sophie: Great, Ella, thanks for asking.

Ella: I’m so glad to hear it! I just wanted to ask you a couple of questions about Mayor Dr. Quack. Did you know him before he was mayor?

Sophie: No, he was away on his retirement tour when I came to Kinzville, so I only got to meet him when he came back to run for mayor.

Ella: Oh, that’s right! Well, I was wondering which of Mayor Dr. Quack’s gifts was your favorite.

Sophie: Hmmm… I’d say it has to be the Mayor Dr. Quack Bobblehead. I just love how silly that thing is.

Ella: Thanks, Sophie! I’ll catch you later!   Phew. Kinzville is a really big place.

I didn’t talk to too many people, but maybe you could tell me what your favorite gift from Mayor Dr. Quack is — just leave a comment below!

Until next time, it’s been real!

XO

Ella

I like them all, but I guess I’ll go with the cup of lollipops, it sure reminds me of trips to the doctor’s office when I was a kid. It was always there.

The miracle cure. Haven’t received any new ones yet (just get old ones) and it wasn’t working yesterday so missed out again. Love going there and getting prizes though. Dr. Quack keep up the good work!

Off topic here…There seems to be a glitch with the “Building Kits”…I received 30 replies for my items, (ivy, mortar and brick) enough to build the first phase. But when I clicked on the build item button, Nuts and Bolts would do their thing and then the leftover items would double… every single time. I built 5 Ivy Walls and I now have around 65,000 items (ivy, mortar and brick) left over. …boorepko

LOL – this is the first time I’ve seen Tabby Von Meow from the waist down, I’ve only seen here behind her desk.

That was a great report! Wouldn’t it be really fun if every mayor got their own theme in the w-shop? For Dr. Quack, it could be like a doctor’s office theme or a hospital theme!

OOOooo…I love that idea! It would be like redesigning the oval office after every election while the new official personalizes it and makes it their own. Cowabelle’s could have been rainbows!
