Fan Mail with Fiona #108

It’s me, Fiona, back for another round of fan mail! As always, for my past answers, click here! If you miss me, you can always head to KinzPost and send a letter or a package, and I’ll deliver it for you! Don’t forget, you can add me as a friend by going to KinzChat and adding Fiona Feathers (include the space!).

Hi Fiona! When you adopt 2 pets at once, does it extend your account expiration for 2 years or does it just do 1 year from that date? – cat2f

Hi, cat2f! Each Webkinz pet that you adopt will give you full membership for a year from the date of adoption and these do not stack. So if you adopt 2 pets on the same day, it’s still 1 year from that day. If you adopt one today and one tomorrow, it’ll be a year from tomorrow. Does that make sense?

Hello Fiona! I was wondering why wall items cannot be put into storage containers. It sure would help with storing so many of the wonderful items that have come out in so many years. – LeeLee

That’s a great question, LeeLee! Did you know fewer things used to go in storage? It’s true — coupons and coins are some of the most recent things that have been changed, and once upon a time there was no way to store your wallpaper and flooring either. Ganz eStore recently came out with a garage that stores certain cars, too! What I’m saying is that you’ve got a great idea, and I’ll be happy to pass it on.

Dear Fiona Feathers. Just to follow up on your response to the last question: If I buy a deluxe membership for someone else, does that person receive the code for the pet or do I? I should add that I meant for the recipient of my gift to receive the pet code as well. Please clarify. Thanks, Traveller

That’s an important question, Traveller, and the answer is that whoever buys the 1-year membership is the one that receives the Adoption Code for the special promotional pet. Whoever uses the code will receive the Super Deluxe item, though.

If a renewal is done within a promo (aka. Love Fairy Buddy), does the Webkinz user get the free promo item? And if so, why didn’t I get mine?

  2. BlueRain says:

Why do you hive us items that we can’t sell or give to someone else? If we don’t wish to use it we should be able to sell it or send it to a friend.

Why is the “Invite to house” button still greyed out? Is it even possible to invite friends over?

Dear Fiona: My sister just reminded me that this year is the five year anniversary of Webkinz X. I was wondering–are there any plans for new Family Score prizes to be released this year? If you do, may I go so far as to suggest not going higher than 250,000 points between prizes? It really does take a long time to earn that many points, even if the prizes are worth the wait, which they always have been. I can’t wait to see what you guys think of next! Thank you!

Dear Fiona, I really miss the Disney promo clothing we used to get. The Zootopia and Inside Out themed clothing are some of my favourites. Will Webkinz be doing this at all in the future? I was kind of sad that there was no Frozen 2 promotional clothing. Thanks! – g2u3c4c5i :)

Fiona, do you know when the next election is? I think Mrs. Birdy should run, and her promise would be to let us rename our webkinz. This would help SO many people who have made errors. Could you pass along my suggestion? Thanks!

Hi Fiona! I think it would be cool if we could change the floor in our outdoor/treetop yards so we could make it any season we wanted. Could you pass along my suggestion? Thanks!

My cousin adopted a extra pet ondc and now she can not buy the items with “Adopt a pet or go Delux”.

Something I’ve wondered a lot, is there a way to see a quick inventory of EVERYTHING you own, just like an overview, such as 4 heart floor tiles, 3 hammocks, with the photo next to it. It wouldn’t have to be clickable, but just list the item owned and perhaps location. My reasoning? I have over 100 rooms and forget where I have put certain things. Also, with tons of pets, I can’t find certain clothing items, such as those cherished Plumpy glasses, unless I go pet to pet to see who is wearing them, or go room to room and search each dresser for something. Just a thought!

Great idea. That would be so useful. I would also like to see a search box in the house map so that users with large houses don’t have to remember the exact location of each room.

I was curious, what was Webkinz World like in 2005? I know it had a lot less stuff to do, but I am wondering how many pets were available in 2005 and what Arcade games were available in 2005? I know for Arcade games, Wishing Well, Jazz Monsters, Dashing Dolphin, Bananza, Leaf Leaf, Tulip Trouble/Tulip Trouble 2, Lily Padz, Picnic, Wacky Zingoz, Icecap Adventure, Pumpkin Patch Protector, Hungry Hog, and Color Storm all came out in 2005, but i’m not sure what other Arcade games came out then. When it comes to pets, I know the Pig, Cow, Black Bear, Lion, Elephant, Hippo, Golden Retriever, Cocker Spaniel, St. Bernard, Basset Hound, Black and White Cat, and Gold and White Cat were all in 2005, but from some of the sources i’ve seen (as well as a post on Webkinz’ offical Facebook account), it seems like those may have been the only 12 pets available in 2005, though i’m not exactly sure. This might be a great question for the Creative Director to ask.
