Hi, memgamom12! There are a few Cream-colored and Tangerine items that were added as Webkinz Newz prizes many years ago — they go with the existing items in the W Shop. You might see them pop up in a Peek-A-Newz prize pool or in one of the Mystery Prizes you can get from Today’s Activities in Webkinz World.
Fiona, do certain games only award certain pet medallions? I know there are common, uncommon, and rare, but are certain common medallions only available on certain games? I can never seem to find the pig. – kinzklipfan
Any game that awards Medallions will award from the same prize pool — and that includes the Pig! The only pets you won’t find in the regular prize pools are the Kiwi and the Snowy Retriever. Hope that helps, kinzklipfan!

Fiona, could you help me understand how the Helping Paws rewards are calculated? I know it’s determined by how much your helper accounts play, but what counts as “play”? Because I am almost certain simply being logged in to Webkinz World but not doing anything doesn’t count as “play.” Also, are the rewards determined by the total amount your helper accounts play, or the average amount that they play? E.g., if one account plays a lot and one never logs in, will the one that never logs in make it harder to get nice rewards? I like math so if you could give me some info about *X number of hours of play required to get Y* or some such, that would help me the most. I’d really like to get the helping paws wall and floor before too long.
Hi – I have one Helping Paws accounts that I opened 2 1/2 years ago and tied it to my main account. I have found that the amount of time (hours) I play on the HP account has no affect on the weekly reward my main account gets. It does matter how many days per week I log in on the HP account. If I log in every day of a week, my main account gets a 500 KC coin. If I log in less than 5 times, the reward is a 100 coin. If I adopt a pet on the HP account, my main gets 1000 Estore points and a large gift box. When I upgraded the HP to a year deluxe, my reward was a small and a large gift box and 1000 points. I believe you get more Epoints if you adopt 3 pets all at once and even more points plus small, medium and large gift boxes for adopting 5 pets all at once, but I never have that many pets to adopt at the same time. If your helper accounts belong to friends, you have no control over how they play their accounts. In my honest opinion, it is not the best way to get Estore points because real money needs to be spent to generate a small amount of points in the rewards. It’s a better deal to wait for the Estore to have a 50% sale on points.
Hi Fiona! Thanks for answering my question! Here’s another question: Why is the minimum length for pet names 3 characters? I have a couple of pets where 2-letter names would be better (like Ed, BJ, Bo, etc.) but I can’t use those names.
This might not be what you’re looking for but off the top of my head I bet the game would probably allow you to name a pet B.J. (b period j period) or even B J (b space j) But I know what it’s like to want it to work perfectly. It really does sometimes feel better to go without than to use something you’re less than satisfied with.

Dear Fiona, Thank you for answering my fan mail! I love Webkinz, and playing with my pets has been a great source of stress relief during these hard times worldwide. My question concerns item storage. Is there a place where I can store unused floors and wall papers/paint? I like to have a clear inventory with everything put away, but I haven’t been able to find a place to store these kinds of items. Any advice? Thanks again so much for reading and replying! There is a “Samples Styles Cabinet” that is specifically made for Wallpaper and Flooring. You can find it in the WShop in the Storage section in the Furniture Section. It can be bought for Kinzcash

When will the Midnight Carousel Horse be available again?
I’m not sure if this will count as a proper question, but here goes. Some time ago I noticed that my Webkinz Player Trophy was missing. I know I had it in a specific room but it’s not there and I don’t know what happened or how to get it back. I contacted support but they haven’t responded. The room I had it in is named “Trophy Room”. My WW username is eskiboy. I’d appreciate any help you can give me with this.

Hi Fiona, how do you mute all of the sounds that come from the Webkinz Desktop App without muting my entire laptop?
That is a great question, I was wondering that myself.
Unless they changed it for the new downloaded app, unfortunately you can’t. I like to listen to music on my computer sometimes while playing but it is very irritating to have all of the Webkinz sounds going off during my music.
Okay so I messed up…. sorry. You mentioned the desktop app, so I guess they haven’t changed it. Maybe this is something that they will consider changing for the future. Ganz? Michael? Mandy? Sally? Steve?
You can mute the Desktop App using the Windows control panel. It’s a bit indepth to explain, so we’ll probably have an article that shows pictures
That’d be great if you could show it for both Mac and Windows!
Unfortunately, Mac OS doesn’t let you control volume on an App by App basis, so it won’t work for the Mac version :(

Hi Fiona! I was wanting to collect the Sunken Ocean Liner Theme. I got a few pieces as prizes years ago. I believe I saw it at the Estore but now I can’t find it. Do you know when they will being it back or what their plans are for it? I would like to complete my theme. Thanks Fiona!
You used to be able to play GanzWorld games, but those were retired a while back. Apparently Moneyz will also be retired but that was a loooong time ago when anyone said that and it still hasn’t been retired.
Where do you store the cookbooks, fashion books, and trading card books?
most toy boxes will hold books.
I store my cookbooks in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. It can only fit four items, but I usually only have a cookbook for the sandwich maker, one for the blender, and the regular one for the stove. I have one room that is just for bake sale storage and cooking. Each of the three bake sale cookbooks sit on their own counter next to their own color coded stove (purple, blue, and I use a yellow and red stove for the third bake sale because there are no orange stoves). My fashion week books are in that room for lack of a better space at the moment. Trading card books go on tables in kids rooms or in the book corner in the preschool room so the “students” can have fun looking through it during recess/free time. Hope this helps!
Beckinz8 this is an awesome suggestion! Thanks so much for sharing. And I think there are a couple of orange or orangeish stoves but they are PSI’s. I will search my dock and if I find one I will let you know. :)
Thanks @Katz1259! I never knew that there were stoves that were PSI’s. I always found it strange that some of the counters and sinks don’t have matching stoves. I know that in real life there aren’t tangerine stoves, but I come to WW to get a little break from real life. In WW, stoves can be pink with purple polka dots if they want them to be. ;-)
