Dear Fiona: I’ve heard a lot of talk in the comments about there being a limit to the number of Webkinz you can adopt on one account. Is it true that there is a limit? I didn’t think there was. -pinkiecupcake
That’s a great question, pinkiecupcake! Back in the old days, the more pets you had, the longer it took for your accounts to load. In some cases, the account could become unusable. That’s why we used to recommend no more than 100 pets per account… but the programming on that was changed years and years ago. Now there’s no official limit, and there are even badges for our super collectors!
Dear Fiona, I noticed that the webkinz mobile app that the separate games are n no longer available is that because we now have the mobile site to use? – dalion2002
Hi, dalion2002! Since we launched the Webkinz mobile app, all of our energies are being poured into making it the best game we can. That means we haven’t updated the old standalone apps, and unfortunately they just aren’t compatible with the most recent versions of iOS.
Hi Fiona! I doubt this will be responded to since people have asked countless times with no answer, but what was the game Driving School like? – CheekyCat
Wow, what a question! I had to track down the creative director to get an answer on this one. Driving School was a game that was originally slated to be released in Webkinz World soon after it launched, but it was pulled at the last minute. It was listed as an example game in some official forms, but it never actually made it to the site. As far as I hear, it didn’t turn out to be very fun, which is why it was shelved.

Dear Fiona, I’m retired and I can’t begin to tell you how much I LOVE WW. Have been on it since almost the beginning. It helps fill my days with my several accounts and just wish I had it when I was a kid, BUT I’ve got it now. Please convey my thanks to Ganz for this wonderful site. I have quite a few older friends who love it too. The games, decorating, daily activities, challenges, floaty clickies, etc. etc. – THANK YOU.
I’m a retiree too and can’t even imagine not playing on Webkinz every day. Thank you from me too.

I was wondering why Webkinz sometimes doesn’t let us know which items are going to retire before they do. Is it to keep the items rare? Also, why have they decided to let us know the last Jumbleberry fields items and Spree items that retired? Will they continue to let us know which items are retiring?

Is there anyone in your Customer Service Department? I have send numerous emails about an issue with my game, and have received no reply.
Fiona, will there ever be a way to turn off pet requests without putting them to sleep?
YESSSS!!! I can’t do anything in webkinz without a Pet Request going off!! And I will be in the middle of a game/tournament/trade/job/class when they usually start showing! It gets really annoying especially if its another pets request, and you are clicking something near the request and it believes that you clicked it–changing the pets, and room, or kicking you out of something.
once i got a request to do a job, and i couldnt do it because i did both the daily job and the deluxe bonus. since i usually play for hours, it doesn’t really affect my pet’s happiness.
I couldn’t agree more. I really dislike that nasty whining sound the pets make too.
I play with the sound off and just read the words I need to, that avoids all the annoying noises. I don’t really want my pets talking to me, as I often watch TV and play at the same time. Endless toy ads are annoying, as I have no need for any of the items. I wish they didn’t constantly turn up when I change rooms, as I often want to check my storerooms for items and it gets very tiresome sitting there waiting to carry on. If I accidentally click an ad it goes to a website, but cancelling that locks up the whole game, I can’t log out and have to click off the screen and start from scratch. It would be good not to have floaty clickys going behind the ads as you wait frustrated to see if the ad will finish before you lose your chance of grabbing it.
I’m confused about the toy ads, they said the ads appear if you watch them and get a prize or kinzcash, but on my non deluxe account i get them all the time, and on my deluxe account I never get them. it gets super annoying, which sucks because i feel like it makes me play on my deluxe account more than my other account, and i think there is a way to turn it off but idk how.
agreed! at this point I ignore pet requests, apologize to the pet (lol) & take them to the spa later! I must keep all my way too many (around 800 I think) pets happy all the time before I sign out. also must keep my kc @ one million. it’s just nice that way ;) best, k.
I think putting them to sleep is fine. I just put all of my pets to bed and leave them there.. I never get any requests unless I take a pet or so out of bed for a while.
