Dear Fiona: I’ve heard a lot of talk in the comments about there being a limit to the number of Webkinz you can adopt on one account. Is it true that there is a limit? I didn’t think there was. -pinkiecupcake
That’s a great question, pinkiecupcake! Back in the old days, the more pets you had, the longer it took for your accounts to load. In some cases, the account could become unusable. That’s why we used to recommend no more than 100 pets per account… but the programming on that was changed years and years ago. Now there’s no official limit, and there are even badges for our super collectors!
Dear Fiona, I noticed that the webkinz mobile app that the separate games are n no longer available is that because we now have the mobile site to use? – dalion2002
Hi, dalion2002! Since we launched the Webkinz mobile app, all of our energies are being poured into making it the best game we can. That means we haven’t updated the old standalone apps, and unfortunately they just aren’t compatible with the most recent versions of iOS.

Wow, what a question! I had to track down the creative director to get an answer on this one. Driving School was a game that was originally slated to be released in Webkinz World soon after it launched, but it was pulled at the last minute. It was listed as an example game in some official forms, but it never actually made it to the site. As far as I hear, it didn’t turn out to be very fun, which is why it was shelved.

I’ve asked a couple of times and so have other players, but every time it comes up Fiona and the other WKN staff always dodge the question and avoid giving a good answer: How do I get a job working for Webkinz? Is there an application I can fill out?
I am so happy to hear that there is no longer a 100 pet limit. As recent as a year or two ago I was having problems and was told it was because I exceeded 100 pets. I have been adding new pets to my other accounts so that I wasn’t prevented from playing because of my pet count. I seriously just added a LOT of pets – but not to my main account – just days before they announced the new super bed and new adoption items that have been added. Now I can start adding new pets to my main account again! Yay!!
Dear Fiona, For a long time people have been asking about deleting rooms and I’m just wondering, is that something that might ever happen?
That would be great! I hate that we can’t change the size or type of room once it’s bought.
Dear Fiona, Is there a reason why we can’t rename our webkinz? Some of us have made spelling errors and a lot of people would be really happy if we could rename them.

Dear Fiona, I was wondering if webkinz was ever going to switch up the games that you can earn medallions. While Atlantis and the other games are fun they become quite tiring after playing them a lot and I would really enjoy earning medallions from games like tile towers!
OH MY GOSH, DRIVING SCHOOL!!!!!!!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!! I REMEMBER PLAYING THAT GAME! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! Wishing Well, Hp Before Dark, Bamboo Break, Jessie Mix Up, and a more!!!! THE OLD WEBKINZ WAS THE BEST! Now Amazing World(RIP Jazzy) is gone. XP
What was the gameplay for Driving School like?
Hi Fiona! I was wondering if there is a specific reason why you retire certain Wish Factory items. I understand that you need to make room for new ones, but why do you choose to retire the ones you do? I remember when the Neo Gothic Piano was in the Wish Factory, but it was retired almost as soon as it was released, so I never got it. Why did you retire that one so quickly?
I read somewhere that if you had more than 100 pets it would slow down your account, which was something I was always concerned about.(I think I currently have 277 pets) I’m very glad to hear that info is outdated and I can keep on adopting webbies without worry! :)
