Dear Fiona: I’ve heard a lot of talk in the comments about there being a limit to the number of Webkinz you can adopt on one account. Is it true that there is a limit? I didn’t think there was. -pinkiecupcake
That’s a great question, pinkiecupcake! Back in the old days, the more pets you had, the longer it took for your accounts to load. In some cases, the account could become unusable. That’s why we used to recommend no more than 100 pets per account… but the programming on that was changed years and years ago. Now there’s no official limit, and there are even badges for our super collectors!
Dear Fiona, I noticed that the webkinz mobile app that the separate games are n no longer available is that because we now have the mobile site to use? – dalion2002
Hi, dalion2002! Since we launched the Webkinz mobile app, all of our energies are being poured into making it the best game we can. That means we haven’t updated the old standalone apps, and unfortunately they just aren’t compatible with the most recent versions of iOS.

Wow, what a question! I had to track down the creative director to get an answer on this one. Driving School was a game that was originally slated to be released in Webkinz World soon after it launched, but it was pulled at the last minute. It was listed as an example game in some official forms, but it never actually made it to the site. As far as I hear, it didn’t turn out to be very fun, which is why it was shelved.

There were quite a few fun and unique games to play, and I used to enjoy playing them. Will we ever see them again? I would love to have them added to Webkinz World! Hi, Fiona–thanks for taking the time to answer our questions! We must keep you pretty busy with all the mail, packages and questions you handle. Since the recent retirement of Wish Factory Exclusive items and all, I got to wondering about how the decisions to retire items are made. Does it have to do with how popular an item is, with the least popular ones retired? Or is it based on something else? Are there different criteria for other retirements, like room themes? Just curious how the process works. Thanks!
Dear Fiona, I notice that pet buddies do not have air bubbles anymore when they go into underwater rooms. Can pet buddies breathe underwater now?
Fiona, I have pets that have diploma’s at the academy but they still ask to do classes… Will this ever be updated to pets that cannot take a class do not ask to do a class?
That is a great question! I am sad when my pets make a request and I am unable to do what they want because it is for something impossible. Hopefully that can be changed.
Hi Fiona, Im wondering why I did not receive my badge for getting 3 600 trophies in wacky zingoz. I got 3 trophies in one day, or does it have to be all 3 trophies in 1 game. That would hard. Could you find out please?

I’m really liking the newest game, Goody Gumdrops. I do, however, have a bit of a complaint: Some of the obstacles are placed too close together, and as you come off of one, you land right into a cactus, and there is nothing you can do to avoid it. Other times the obstacles are too far apart, with no gumdrops available, and I run out of energy, and again there is nothing I can do about it. Is it possible to make some adjustments to the programming so that the spacing between obstacles works out better?
Dear Fiona, Is there any way you could put notification ads on webkinz world, for example: Webkinz News will be down for X amount; or Updating Webkinz Newz and World this date. It comes in handy and allows the users to not freak out and panic (much) when they can not get on to WebkinzNewz to do the floaty clicky, what videos, get codes/recipes, or hunt for specific animals. Also, is there a way to change the room size that you have in your house, and you can even charge the difference between the two sizes as renovation costs, b/c when I and many others first started out all we could afford (other than the free room for new pet for X amount of Pets) were smalls that really live up to their name small. I’ve even made my rooms like suites, double and triple occupancy, so I could have specialty rooms (B/c my dock bar is getting too full of furniture and it is troublesome scrolling all the time). Have you guys ever considered creating multi-tabs for the furniture like you did for the decal/wall/floor/rug/poster , and Clothing sections? Sorry if this seems like a lot but I never get responses back on anything I have posted or sent via mail…hopefully this will get answered. I agree. To make it easier for me, I had to take out all the furniture in every room and completely redesign my house!!
