Farm Fresh Apples: MORE Secret Recipes Revealed!

In an earlier Secret Recipe Revealed story on Webkinz Newz we showed you how to make some delicious apple treats using last year’s Farm Fresh Apples, grown from the seeds given away during the 2016 Fall Fest.

The 2017 Fall Fest featured some NEW Green Apple Tree Seeds, while the 2017 Fall Fest Soda also gave away some NEW Maple Dipped Apple Seeds.

What we haven’t told you is that you can use the apples harvested from these seeds to make two NEW Secret Recipes!

Here’s how you can mix together the Farm Fresh Apples from last year and this year to make either a delicious Sweet Orchard Pie or a Sweet Orchard Shake!

***Update: The image for the Sweet Orchard Shake has been corrected to show that it is created on the stove and not the blender.

Does anyone know when the winners of the Name Me contests will be annouced? The suspense is killing me! Also the KVA one too? Thx

  2. Alphaowlbear says:

So who got the trophy? Ganz, would you please publish the winner? I’ve scrolled to read all these comments and it seems someone already made these a week ago before this announcement, plus the fiasco with the blender recipe making gak. I’m sorry for everyone who used up their apples on a recipe that published wrong and was already solved long ago.

    • Sally Webkinz says:

We do not post Webkinz World usernames. At least one of the solvers has self-identified in the comments. I can confirm that these recipes were solved (i.e., the trophies were won) in September.

      • Alphaowlbear says:

Thanks for your comments, Sally, but WHY hold a trophy contest if its already been won weeks ago? You got everyone hyped up for the possibility of winning a coveted rare trophy when winning it wasn’t possible anymore. I can’t comprehend your thinking on this one. Plus, the mistake of the Sweet Orchard Shake is regrettable. Read the comments, please. Many people used all the food they had. Plus, making a shake on a stove makes no sense at all. All the other October activities are super this month, but this one has fallen off the tree.

        • Sally Webkinz says:

The typo is most definitely regrettable, but this was never presented as contest. This is revealing the recipe to others so they can create them for themselves. We reveal secret recipes after they have been discovered on a regular basis. Only occasionally are they previously unsolved –
in those cases, that information is shared in the post and the possibility for the trophy is mentioned. I will certainly pass on the comments and recommend that we notify when a secret recipe has already been solved, as well as when it is unsolved.

          • Alphaowlbear says:

Thank you, Sally. I can see the picture of the trophy has been removed from the article. The original article had the trophy prominently displayed and there was no mention of it being won, so of course it was implied that this was a contest. I don’t think I’m the only one who thought that. The article omitted the fact the recipe had already been solved and the trophy won and Ganz was just sharing the recipe with us, that’s all.

          • Sally Webkinz says:

Aha. That does explain the confusion. I knew that there was an issue with the appliance, but I didn’t realize that the trophy was mentioned in the original article. I will definitely follow up with the rest of the team to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

Hello Alphaowlbear, I solved the pie recipe and received the secret chef trophy. A friend of mine solved the shake recipe. I’m sorry, I wasn’t sure if I should post that I solved it.

      • Alphaowlbear says:

Congratulations sunshinepaws on winning that very cool trophy! :-)

      • dixiecup says:

Sunshine paws, why would you not want to post such awesome news?? That’s Great!! It’s always such a nice surprise to get new recipes to try and ones that use the fruit we grow on our own is double the fun!! Congratulations, both you and your friend and I, for one, would never want someone to keep it a secret, especially because of how long it took to solve two of the most wanted, Yummy Tummy Tumbler and the Watermelon top.

Sally ….Question is webkinz aware that the Sweet Orchard Shake recipe does not make that , it just makes different colored gak. I tried it 3 times and got the same results all 3 times gak just different colors of it.

  4. EmeraldCity says:

Awesome! I don’t have the Maple Dipped Apple Seeds. Good luck everyone who has all these apples ready to go in their docks!!! Thanks for revealing these! :D

  5. beaubo says:

I don’t have a maple dipped tree. sad face!

  6. ilovemoonie says:

Aw man, I really wish I had those maple dipped apples…I have all the other ones that are needed. :/ Oh well…this is still really cool, and I hope everyone who can has a fun time making these! :)

  7. animalmomkls says:

Well, I made the first one and it turned out fine. But I couldn’t make the Sweet Orchard Shake. I followed the recipe and tried twice. Anybody else have success making it??

  8. GoGanz24 says:

I tried the Sweet Orchard Shake on two accounts, the exact apples you called for (farm fresh golden, candy, and maple; my only one on the maple and golden for those accounts) in the blender, and got gak on both accounts (green gak and gra/ey gak, I’m sorry, I didn’t remember how they spelled gray/grey and already closed the account).

  9. hun89 says:

The Sweet Orchard Shake recipe is not working. I tried three times and received grey gak.

  10. Alphaowlbear says:

Haha – I suspected there would be some new recipes with these new apples. Sadly, I won’t win the trophy. I have just one Maple Dipped tree and it’s not ready to harvest yet. Congratulations to the lucky people who are the first to make the recipes! Enjoy your prize :-)
