Field Trip #5 – The Mysterious Temple

Hello class, and welcome to the archaeological dig site at The Mysterious Temple!

Archaeology is the study of civilizations through the recovery and analysis of cultural material. These materials usually consist of artifacts (sounds like a certain shop owner from Kinzville that we all know!), architecture, or cultural landscapes.

The process involves surveying, excavation and analysis of all the data collected to learn more about the past. It developed out of the study of antiques in 19th century Europe and eventually became a discipline practiced throughout the world!

If you want to start your own archaeological adventure, here’s a code for a Backyard Dig Site!

*This code awards one item per Webkinz.com account and expires at midnight Oct. 31, 2018.

I hope you enjoyed today’s field trip to the Mysterious Temple archaeological dig site! You can find the Mysterious Temple wallpaper and flooring at the Ganz eStore! You may find the Mysterious Temple Tree inside one of our eStore Lucky Boxes. If you want to go inside the temple, you can also find a Mysterious Ruins mini-theme set at the Ganz eStore!

Any questions, class?

This is such a cool looking room with a view wallpaper and floor set and it’s available at just the right time plus I’ve been saving some Estore points. I’ll be earning the Excavation Under Glass family score prize in about 8 days and it will look great here. I’ve got the Lost City columns from Sophie’s dive room and the Trapdoor from Jumbleberry Fields looks as if it leads to an underground dig and my ancient clay pots from Zumwhere. The little backyard dig site from the above code is a perfect addition, too. :-)

Fabulous field trip, Sophie! What is the large excavation in the center of the room called, and where can we get it? Is it a PSI? Thank you so much for the tiny dig site! It’s adorable and awesome! We had an archaeology tour on vacation this summer in Williamsburg VA. It was pretty cool!
