When you see a silver paw, that is something which can be unlocked with a Full Membership or a Deluxe Membership. You can get a Full Membership by adopting a new Webkinz Pet. Each new Webkinz Pet adoption extends your Full Membership for 1 year from the date that you adopt them.
The gold badge is for Deluxe Membership only. Deluxe Members get access to everything that Full Members do, and much, MUCH more, without needing to adopt any new Webkinz Pets (but you still can adopt as many as you want to!)

Why everybody thinks this is unfair? If everything in webkinz is free, it will only last for a month or two! I agree with pretty pikachu, if we give ganz money, then webkinz and amazing world will be more awesome!
Well, it was unfair that Webkinz forced every free players in Webkinz to adopt a pet or join Deluxe Membership, because Deluxe Membership cost real money.

It’s stupid to have full memberships. I’ve bought 67 webkinz so that means I’ve spent about $1000 on webkinz. It’s ridiculous. maybe players that have not purchased a webkinz shouldn’t get full access but those who have purchased over 20 should get a free full membership.
Agreed! Although I bought deluxe right before everything switched to a deluxe/money focus, I do think it’s unfair. There are some people who’ve bought 200+ Webkinz, and yet, deluxe has more. It’s depressing when all of your favorite games and apps have become money focused.
You do realize that it’s only $5.99 a month to get the deluxe membership? That’s a lot cheaper than buying Webkinz

Guys, stop saying Deluxe members are mean. First of all, not all of them are. ?And if they are, just ignore them. I find it kind of offending because I used to be a Deluxe member, but I never bullied anyone. My membership expired, but I can still do a few things, still not as much though. And thanks for this thread, Webkinzworld, this brings down my confusion of full membership and Deluxe. Deluxe expired, but I have full membership. Ok, yeah, that makes more sense from my journal.
