Ganz Fanz: Fan Art Showcase 32

It’s time for more fan art! Some of these pieces make us long for spring and summer.

We can’t get enough of monkeyfun15′s 3D drawings. Check out this awesome Webkinz Hippo!

Is it spring yet? This picture by _emiemiemiemiemi_ certainly makes us miss the warmer weather!

We love this realistic version of the Mystic Pony — drawn by TaffyKitty12!

This picture was originally drawn by FoxesRule612 to celebrate Webkinz Day! Very cute :)

These Pinata doodles are great! Thanks for sharing, Tachihound.

If you want to send in your favorite Webkinz drawings (and maybe get them posted on the Webkinz Newz front page!), please share them in the Share Center (under “Fan Art”) at the Ganz Parent Club or snail mail them to:

Grey Tabby and the Hound Dog? Please correct me if I’m wrong) TaffyKitty12, your Mystic Pony is amazing!!! It reminds me of a Breyer Horse. :) FoxesRule12, I LOVE your foxes!!!! The Fennec Fox is dressed a little like one that I drew (only yours is a WHOLE LOT better!!). :) And Tachihound, your Pinata Donkeys are amazing!!! In summary, all of you did FANTASTIC jobs!!!! :)

These are so awesome oh my gosh!! I love your hippo, monkeyfun15 – aw heck, I love all your 3D artwork, they’re so amazing! I think my favorite of yours is the Googles, it’s so cute! :D Emie, your picture is awesome! That kitten is so adorable, I want it ;_; I love the pose too, you can see the movement in her paws! Also, TaffyKitty I love your horse!! That is so awesome, it looks so realistic. I find horse anatomy really hard to draw, but you totally nailed it! :D FoxesRule612, I love your picture too! I love how you draw their faces, they look so furry and cheerful! What did you use to color them? It looks awesome! Also oh my gosh Fester is adorable. He is the cuddliest piñata I have ever seen, and I love his adorable floppy ears and his little blush and his wavy tail and everything about him :’D The bottom picture of him is my favorite, he just looks pleased as punch to be featured on Webkinz Newz. Awesome, awesome work everyone!!!

Thanks Fracktail! I’m glad you like my 3-D art!

      • Fracktail says:

No problem, I love looking at your work! You’re really good at it. Do you plan on becoming a 3-D artist or something like that? I think you’d do an awesome job :D

        • monkeyfun15 says:

I do 3-D for a hobby. But who knows, maybe I will be a 3-D artist when I’m older! :D

          • Fracktail says:

That would be awesome!! 3-D modeling can take you places. You could do 3-D animation, or architecture, or what have you. But hey, do what you want – you have the whole future ahead of you! Follow your dreams, as they say. :D

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

Thanks Fracktail! It was hard to draw, mainly cause, like you, horse anatomy is not easy. I had to actually look at an actual picture to make sure I got it right! In the end, though, I think it paid off! ;) I’m really glad you liked it!

        • Fracktail says:

No problem! Looking at a reference is a great way to learn to draw stuff (especially anatomy!). A lot of artists starting out may try not to do that (I know I did when I was a beginner :P), but a lot of art schools will want to see observational drawing and stuff, so that’s an awesome way to start! But yeah, back on-topic, your drawing skills are excellent! :D

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Thanks! ;D I’ve drawn horses in the past but I have always noticed that, compared to an actual horse, mine didn’t look as realistic. The legs weren’t as detailed, the neck was thinner and shorter, and the head was much more rounded and quite small. I thought this time is try to a nicer and more detailed drawing. I looked at a picture of a real horse and tried to outline it the best I could. From there I worked on the tail and mane and then I lastly colored it. It turned out better than I thought it would! I like how it’s quite mysterious and its head is bowed slitghtly. It gives it a nice touch! ;) Lateky I’ve been working on more detailed drawings instead of my normal cartoonish looking animals and I’ve found observational drawing to be quite helpful! And thanks once again! Also, I must say, the other drawings featured were amazing as well! I think all of them were very unique and I’m glad I was featured along with these other amazing artists and their drawings! ;D

          • Fracktail says:

No problem, it looks so cool! :D And yeah, observational drawing is super fun. I do that along with my usual squash-and-stretch cartooniness, and it’s funny because the two kind of complement each other, in a way; by drawing realistically I pay more attention to features that I can potentially exaggerate in my cartooning, haha. But yeah, that horse is epic! Good job! :D

      • FoxesRule612 says:

I believe I just used colored pencils to color them with. Probably my special French kind. I used the same ones I did for my ride, I think. Thanks! Your art style is incredible, too! I remember trying to draw in that style, Fracktail.

        • Fracktail says:

That’s so awesome!! I love colored pencils, they’re on of my favorite things to use besides acrylics. Have you ever used watercolor pencils? They’re the best!!! And thank you, haha! Your style is absolutely adorable though, it looks like it could be from a storybook! Have you considered going into illustration? That’d be so awesome!! :D

          • FoxesRule612 says:

I have actually considered illustration, actually. But mostly what I’d like to do would be animation. I have some watercolor pencils right here! =D

          • Fracktail says:

Oh my gosh that’s awesome!! Animation is one of my dreams too, I just love that you’re able to take your own creations and bring them to life like that. It’s magical. I hope you become an animator one day – you would be amazing! :D

  9. otisbulldogmiddleton says:

I love that piñata drawing Tachihound did, and that name: Fester– love it! It sound extremely close to Nester from the hit Christmas stop motion animated television special: Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey.
