I have a Next suggestion. Do you have a suggestion box? If so, please let me know where. I was wondering if the game designers would consider creating a new host character that is a skunk? She could be the kindness ambassador, blending the Classic and the Next communities together, offering help, advice and guidance in either game to hopefully help to create a more blended community. She could host contests here on WKN where everyone can participate and benefit, regardless of game of choice. (I’m not exactly sure how all of that would work logistically, but that’s why you get paid the big bucks!) I know friends who have fully embraced Next, those who are trying to do it all in both games (and are getting exhausted!), and those who are staunch Classic supporters through and through. No matter how we like to play, we’re all one community at the end of the day!

I am excited for Bingo! I don’t have many NEXT games I am good at. I like the cake baking activity, but I don’t know why everyone grabs the ingredients and my pet is sooooo slow. Does taking speed classes help? If there are any hints or tricks to NEXT games, I need to find them otherwise I will miss all the great prizes :)

If you level up the Speed skill, it can help. When you max it to level 5, it increases that pet’s speed by 10%. It takes a LONG time to max a skill though. It will likely be helpful in the future for other events like this, so it’s still an option if you wanna start. I invested in Speed a long time ago and I’m a week or so away from finally maxing it out myself!!

When it comes to grabbing ingredients, the strategies I would recommend depends on the situation. If there are a lot of people in the lobby (10+), try going where other people are not gathered at to collect ingredients and grab close to 9 ingredients before returning to the mixer. Ingredients usually disappear really fast when there are so many people in the game. In smaller lobbies, I would recommend trying to get ingredients closer to the mixer like where the benches are because ingredients tend to not disappear as quickly with less players and going further out can cause people to get ahead of you in terms of ranking in an individual game. Either way, if you see ingredients starting to disappear in the direction you are heading towards, I would recommend turning around and trying to find other places that ingredients are still present at. It’s hard to tell what exact strategies to use because it can vary based on each game and each situation, but I think that practice can definitely help. I have won a lot even when using a pet that does not have the speed skill, but having a pet with even level 2 of the speed skill (which is a 5% speed boost) can be the difference between beating someone to ingredients. I wish you the best of luck in the cake bakeoff event and I really hope that you are able to win the mixers and the chef’s jacket!

Have played for years on my main account and on a relative’s account that no longer plays Webkinz and have been several times one away from winning – but always too late.
