The Ghost Hunt is brand new to Webkinz Next. From October 22-31, look for the ghost around Kinzville and in the Mines. Catch it to earn exclusive costume pieces.
The ghost only appears in one spot at a time for a short period. So, if you see it, make sure you tell everyone in Kinzville!
The Trick or Treat Event
From Oct 22-Oct 31, visit Trick or Treat stands around Kinzville and click on them to earn random candy. There are four new candies added to the prize pool this year. Can you collect all nine varieties?
Halloween Mystery Capsule
The Halloween Mystery Capsule is available in the W Shop for diamonds. Collect exclusive spooky plants that can be placed indoors and outdoors. And, collect cool indoor furniture for your Halloween collection!

I am also getting a lot of LOST CONNECTION with game server and are forced to log out. I am also getting kicked off the game quite a lot. I could not find the ghost early AM. I think he must be invisible.
Can you please reduce the requirement for the pop quiz? A+ is pretty ambitious. I know people with degrees who haven’t gotten them all right. Some of the questions have words most adults don’t know let alone children. It’s a bit much. And if the ghost showed up more often your servers wouldn’t kick us out all the time. I think in a matter of over an hour a bunch of us were kicked out over 4 times. It’s a lot.
I’m sorry, but this business of putting the ghost in Next and having to hunt for it all over the place was a great idea in thought but in working, not so much. And I’m wondering if anyone ever bothered to fix the glitch? I quite literally “ran into” the ghost on the first day it was up, on Saturday, by the candy table in front of the coffee shop and was absolutely astonished when I got the Robot Boots from mid air, no ghost mind you, after clicking a bit off center of the candy table. I saw far too many players that morning running over to where others had seen the ghost only to find that the ghost was invisible. Hiding him exclusively in the Mine is much better idea. You know, rather like putting him in the reading room in Classic?
Is anyone, besides me, having a connection issue flash on the screen when they are on Next? Every time I go on and am on for a little bit, I get a connection error flashing on my screen. this has happened since the new update. I then have no choice but to log out when a connection to the server loss message pops up. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. That made it worse. Anyone else having this issue?
My daughter and I are having the same issue. It happens several times each day since maintenance.
Yes. I think maybe so many people are on the server is having a hard time keeping up.
It is very hard to even find the GHOST with all the connection problems. I keep getting LOST CONNECTION WITH GAME SERVER, after sitting waiting for a few minutes see lost connection and get logged on the same thing happens when I have been lucky enough to find the ghost after looking for so long. I have never had a problem with the connection until this event. Maybe you could speed up the time it is taking for ghost to appear especially for early morning hours 4:00 am when not a lot of players on.
I really like these costumes but I haven’t been able to find the ghost even once yet. :( Does anyone know the answer to any of these questions: When they say “kinzville” do they mean just the outside area or can it show up in buildings as well?(other than the mines, of course.) Can you “catch” the ghost more than once a day? And has anyone figured out exactly how long a “short amount of time” lasts? Thanks!
The ghost will not appear inside buildings. Only outside in Kinzville and in the mines. You can catch the ghost 3 times a day, but they have to be separate discoveries — you can’t click on the ghost three times in a row. You’ll have to wait for the ghost to disappear and then reappear

I ADORE Halloween in Webkinz, but I am having ZERO luck with finding Spooky. =( I seriously want that robot & pirate costume SO badly. Okay, so a bit unrelated, but I grew my baby husky up the other day. Today she asked to play Smoothie Moves & so I played it. THEN, when I was at the Baby Showcase, she asked for a change of clothes & I put a pair of pants on her & then it gifted me her husky giftbox?? She just got grown into a kid, and I thought the boxes weren’t supposed to come until adulthood? Earlier in the day, I got my adult golden retriever’s box & then switched to my adult frog(both just grown/first requests) & was waiting for a request but switched to my husky, and so I guess it detected my husky as an adult..?
hello all you other W fanatics. hello those of you who work for & make decisions @ Webkinz… could you PLEASE, PLEASE adjust whatever prevents us from being able to sell the things we do not want on our accounts on NEXT? personally, i am a minimalist–i hate overdecorated things & i hate having extras i cannot use (except i am the opposite–a collector–in the dock of my classic account with containers & boxes, go figure!). back on point–we can only store so many extras w/i furniture as i have learned there is a limit of total items. re: flooring, e.g., which cannot be sold back–there is NOWHERE to store such! i have contacted customer service to remove things, and of course will continue to do so; however, there are still MANY items which even they claim to not be able to remove!?! what?? [this is how i learned about the storage issue/problem, btw--had to try to put them SOMEWHERE.] okay, well, think have made my point. caps for emphasis, not yelling. thanks & best, k.

you’ll do fine–hang out in the yard & someone will let you know… i think someone from webkinz is playing & they seem to know prior to the ghost appearing where and when… gl!! my problem so far is that I have gotten the SAME prize (pirate boots) 75% of the time!! this would be no problem at all, even a plus, IF ONLY WE COULD SELL THE UNWANTED EXTRAS AT THE WSHOP. ugh ;( well best to you, k.
I agree wholeheartedly on the selling part. I got a duplicate yesterday and immediately went to sell it back as I needed KC so was very disappointed to recieve the dreaded ‘this is unsellable’ message. There are numerous other items I wish I could sell back as well – such as the Kawaii Kitchen bin that was on the wheel a few months ago. Please webkinz, make all Kinzcash W-shop/non-seasons event/general prize items sellable.
